Picked up a 43 inch Phillips 5500 LED flat screen for €279. Not 4K compatible and the sound is meant to be tinny but great bargain imo.
Which branch did you find it in?

Tip: pick up a cheap 2.1 PC speaker system and plug it into the headphone jack. Quality sound:-)

Not if you value your security. Putting all your keys in one flimsy box is a bad idea.

    Can you offer your solution?

Yeah. Don't buy a cheap storage box to store all your keys where a thief can easily break/force it open and have all your keys in one go. Look up the Lock Picking Lawyer on YouTube to see how easy it is to break into these kinds of things. Spoiler - Masterlock is no bueno.

Ok, but you still haven't offered an alternative solution.

It's less how easy it is to pick these and more that a single blow from a hammer will destroy all similar lockboxes and give a thief access to your delicious possessions

Tapping that hammer off a glass window will get the same thief in a window fairly quick too. I still think this is a better option than hiding a key under a flowerpot.

Tesco Naas have 15 metre extension leads for 8.80. it scanned at 26 but they checked the price and gave it to me at the shelf price.

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,018 ✭✭✭123654789

Anyone know if double the difference still applies?

  • Registered Users Posts: 10,618 ✭✭✭✭okidoki987

    Yep
Happened to me last week with some coffee.
Said it to the girl on the till, she looked at me blankly, senior staff member took over and said it was fine to pay DTD.

Will have a look in Sligo tomorrow. I could do with one of them. Even the cheapest leads in aldi , lidl or Dunnes are at least a euro a metre.
