    That City attack is frightening.

Picking a 2nd attacker that isn't as expensive as KDB is the mission there I think.

Sterling and Aguero seems the obvious combo

Their defence is hopeless but they will score plenty goals

Yeah they can't defend for ****, but I'm pretty happy to keep Antonio and Payet for the time being.

Hard to feel like the bonus point system isn't flawed when Jakupovic gets more BPS after conceding 4 than Sanchez does having scored 2.

Based on an individual basis alone, it's somehow a bit "fair".

Jaku plays in a much weaker team than Sanchez. He did everything he could to deny Sanchez & Arsenal the win. Alone he failed but he did manage to save Sanchez peno and to reach 6 FPL saves (means he probably made twice the amount in reality).
C'mon Eliott, you must have sympathy and defend the weak :pac:!

    -

That said and more seriously, it's the peno that makes all the diff for both Jaku & Sanchez.

I emailed FPL Towers in the off season asking for a reduction in the amount of BPS a saved peno gets to no avail. So often a GK concedes and loses the match, yet gets five points and steals bonus just for saving a pen. Pretty sure Mignolet got bonus GW1 despite shipping three goals

    22 (-8) from 4.

Kicking myself for taking a -8 and not realising it.

Kicking myself even harder that I didn't drop the wild card. I was going to bring in snodgrass. I was going to evict Evans. And I was finally going to ship Hennessy - God I hope doesn't play tomorrow, I have jaku on the bench

That Lukaku "goal" really is a travesty

Yup, this. Weighted far too heavily.

Only a goal if his shoes were untied and his laces flicked the ball

Honestly, the best way around this going forward is scratch the 1 hour rule.

Agreed, final points are final and that's it as long as confirmed on their site.

There must be a time frame, though, but one hour is a bit short.

Jaku had 6 saves, too, which is a lot tbh.

53 from 6. A very nice return after last week's horror show.

Captained Lukaku, so hoping Ibrahimovich has a quiet day tomorrow.

He didn't get a bonus at the end. Why are we even discussing it ???

Basically in reference to the weight of a peno save in the BPS, many a point lost on it, especially since I can't remember having my keeper save a peno since Mignolet on the opening day against Stoke quite a few years back.

Saving a peno is a huge achievement.
Surely there is a bit of luck involved but it is easier to score than to save.

Once Sanchez failed to score a penalty, which is the easiest way to score a goal, his bps was reduced to reflect this.

He also missed out on winning goal bonus.

6 saves + saved penalty might be worth as much as 2 goals.

Wouldn't agree on that one. Particularly not when you've also conceded 4 goals.

Is it time to start talking about Walcott again ?7.5ml

I won't agree on Walcott getting 3 just because of winning goal. But it doesn't matter.

It is based on numbers, and you can't make everyone happy no matter what.

I just take whatever they give.

You can call me naive, but I don't think that people in opta or fpl do it on purpose to annoy me or you. Or for us to lose our h2h game.

60k overall, happy out with that considering I had such a poor week last week

I'm ranked just about 2 millionth. Obviously my worst season ever. :pac:

35k overall for those starting in GW2, which is less frightening that the 2mil number!

The fact that the both of us are thinking this can't be a good thing for poor Theo.

Or us for that matter :pac:

Iwobi is only 5.8 and seems to be ahead of Walcott in pecking order....quite tempted to give me a chance as sanchez light so i can fit in KDB

    28 from 8.

Cech, Masuaku, Ozil and Barkley were inspired WC picks - 9 points from 8 appearances between them in the last 2 weeks:(
