The twatishness of the Lions team could be at all time levels with Farrell, Williams, Hogg, Hartly and Sexton starting.
How on earh is Sexton in the same bracket as those others? And Hogg as well?

    Sexton = Hartley? :confused:

Arrogance would probably be a better word than Twatishness but I agree.
But Sexton fanboys will just call it confidence.

Well to continue my education, could you explain exactly how this 'arrogance' manifests on the pitch? Or elsewhere for that matter?

To be fair I've noticed that Sexton isn't very popular outside Ireland. He can be a bit mouthy.

Yeah, but not in a Liam Williams kind of way, more in a short-tempered, grumpy kind of way.

Was kind of used to it tbh, but it's no comparison to the likes of Farrell or Hartley.

The vast majority of English I've spoken to recently while over there seem to believe Ireland have four certain starters in the pack.McGrath,Best(Cpt),Furlong and Stander.Murray starts at 9 and Sexton (if fit). Honourable mentions for O'Brien,Heaslip,Healy,Henshaw. They cannot understand how small the Irish back division are and England will target them big time.

It all makes sense now, Sexton is consistently injured and that is down to being targeted by late hits and cheap shots on the pitch.

Until now everyone thought he was being singled out because of how instrumental he is to Irelands gameplan and because of his outstanding talents.

But now we realise this is completely wrong, it's really because he's a bit of a dick=(Confident 10, vocal leader, game runner, call maker) 😆

Mouthiness would perhaps be a better term. Twas a tongue in cheek comment, not knocking Sexton.

Then they're pretty clueless about the size of Ben Youngs, George Ford, Jonathan Joseph, Mike Brown and Johnny May.

The English back line is the smallest in the tournament, I would guess.

I'd say Biggar is a much mouthier 10 than Sexton, by some distance. Didn't a ref threaten to card him during the World Cup for never shutting up?

Also Henshaw is bigger than the entire English backline put together. Good luck targeting him.

Wyn Jones was spoken to last weekend, to give a warning for Biggar constantly mouthing off to the ref.

Seems like it happens nearly every game now. He can't shut up.

    #JusticeForJonny :D

On a slightly more seious note, Sexton only mouths off to his own team, and only when they deserve it ;)

Telegraph 37 man squad contains 11 Irishmen

    Furlong
    McGrath
    Healy

    Best

    Stander
    O'Brien
    Heaslip

    Murray
    Sexton

    Henshaw

    BobbyK :eek::eek::eek:

Peculiar selection. Not a hope a squad is going to be selected with only 6 Welsh players. No Rhys Webb for a start is simply not gonna happen. Nor are 9 Scottish players going to go.

Kearney will definitely travel, put the house on it. Him, Hogg, and Halfpenny will be the fullbacks. Brown has been utter crap this season. Liam Williams and Zeebs will travel as wings.

Kearney's lack of versatility means that I only see him travelling if he's genuinely considered a contender to start. I wouldn't bring him myself.

inversely, the versatility of all the other options could see him travel as the only specialist ie Hogg, L William even 1/2p.

though i cant see him going at all myself.

Didn't he travel as a tourist the last time despite being in poor form?

No. Think around then he'd spent prolonged periods injured. 11/12 he was really excellent, 12/13 think he missed a decent chunk of it. Don't think his Lions selection was too controversial.

No but I mean he wasn't playing regular enough to show decent form, he traveled anyway, and played the midweek games... My point is it wasn't controversial then, it certainly shouldn't be now when he's playing in good form and doesn't have as much competition ahead of him.

Easy way to resolve it. Get Kearney, Halfpenny, Hogg and Brown in a room. Ask each of them how often they've beaten NZ.

Welcome aboard Rob, grab yourself a Steinlager and one of those weird battered-hot-dog-on-a-stick things to get acclimatised.

    Bulletproof.

NMS and Savea looking in awesome form for the Canes.

    Savea looks lean but powerful.

NMS looks powerful but with that gorgeous step still in the box of tricks.

    Just saying.

Not sure if you want to watch them play rugby or ride them?

Or ask each of them how often they've been beaten 60-0 by NZ :P

Brown would be joining him for Steinie and a hot dog.
