I don't think Savea would have got him, should have been a try.

    that was a horrible call.

Poor call there, if the position was reversed it wouldn't have been called against the AB's

Poor call. Don't think Owens wanted to go with that call.
Owens made a big mistake there ..... he's the ref and should have told the TMO that there was nothing in that .....

Don't think so - he asked for the TMO's opinion, he's got a better view of it.

Don't agree ..... TMO butted in ..... is he then the arbiter?

..... Owens could see the screen like everyone else in the ground .....

Seeing something on a big screen isn't the same as what's available to the TMO.

Owens clearly couldn't tell if the runner would've made a tackle, so he asked the TMO.

Oh if Speight had hung on to that...

was there not a push on gold in the run up to that?

edit: nope looks like gold tripped

If everyone else could tell ..... Owens could tell ......

We'll have to agree to disagree on this one.

Did the TMO check for a trip on the AB try?

Cruden quick conversion because he knew he tripped Sio in the lead up to the try.

Good to see Savea back in form.

37-10 easy. Well perhaps not quite as easy as usual. :D

Let's face it - we're fncked when we come up against NZ

Feel a lot better about facing Oz this autumn now. And a whole lot worse about NZ.

Australia and South Africa have both been really poor. England and an injury wrecked Ireland both had good tours.

All blacks are good but looking better due to poor opposition.

Great time for us to play them, I guarantee the lads can't wait to take a cut out of them.

Highlights - and there were plenty of them! :D

i suppose their average of nearly six tries per game over the last ten matches ..... (SAx2, AUSx3, ARGx2, WALx3) has to come to an end at some point ..........

    Positives for Ireland
Australia put in some really poor tackles at times leading to tries.
When it comes to placekicking, NZ couldn't hit a barn door from 10 feet.

Honestly, none of those teams are playing well. Wales were fielding a second string team for that tour and honestly looked like they were knackered after the season.

Yeah, Ireland need to play similarly to SA the other week, but just execute better defensively. Play for territory, take the points that are on offer. Put them under pressure.

Now the All Blacks are knackered after a season, and have just set a new record. Can't imagine their drive is as high as it would have been before this last match. Good time to be playing them.

^^ Dream on. Anyway Barrett more than makes up for his 'recent' poor form from the kicking tee in other ways plus there's reliable Aaron Cruden to step up as required. As for the ABs being knackered.... and why stop at 18 unbeaten tests on the trot? It will be 22 after they leave a trail of destruction from Chicago to Paris via Dublin. Bring it on! :D
