I too had Zlatan as captain and Shaw. I'm not expecting much this week as I've a lot of players with away fixtures and it looks like Mane is out for me so that good start should prove handy.

Unbelievable, I changed captain from Ibra to Aguero earlier on today but must not have confirmed because when I logged in now Ibra has the (c), I also have Shaw, I'm gonna win FPL this year:pac:

5 from 2 martial and Redmond. I'll have to get in zlatan tonight didn't think he would be on pens. That's vardy hazard and zlatan peno situation that have all gone the way I didn't think they would. Going martial over zlatan for utd coverage the first two weeks has only cost me 8 points but I need to act now.

The peno situation really suckered me too. Hazard worked out my way, but I'd have gone Ibra and not Vardy if I'd known.

Vardy is not a 10m player without penalty duties, and Ibra on penalties and direct FKs is just too dangerous.

Ah well.

East European Road Trip days 6 & 7. Bratislava & Presov.

Prague & Vienna were feckin' great. But there's always a time where it all turn sour... It was feckin' Slovakia. My friend just had to bloody get married there...

I had it all planned with an a-priori good wi-fi connection yesterday in a Bratislava old luxury fashioned Sovietic-like hotel. But we had a nightmare late arrival, got arrested and fined by Slovakian police 'cause we used a bus/tram lane for 50m 'cause we did not see nor understand the Slovakian road sign and were confused while searching for our direction... Nice way to welcome foreign people by the way, policemen were just at the right place to cash in from all the foreign confusions :rolleyes:... Only thing is the policewoman was pretty hot, not sure the missus'd have agreed but I could have done her a lot more for 20 euros than just pay my fine :pac:!

Anyway was too tired yesterday evening to change my team accordingly. And this morning, hotel reception rang and kinda forced us out at 10 am sharp (the hotel was 80% empty :rolleyes:...) but thought it'd be OK between 3G/4G on the way and the hotel in Presov. Well, did not anticipate the ab-so-lu-te chaos on the roads :eek:!!! Oh my! Oh my! What the hell does this week-end feckin' mean in Slovakia? Getting out of Bratislava in the beginning of the afternoon was kinda trying to drive in Paris for Bastille Day! Then it looked like every single feckin' road (motorway, 2x2 lanes roads, secondary & even "tertiary" roads (I mean even the little roads through the mountains)) had feckin' road works on (some roads were even fully closed !!!). Add to that a probable catastrophic crash at some point on the motorway (clompletely closed our way and partly closed the other way) and you get the worse traffic jam I ever experienced. And there was no point in trying to be clever and use my feckin' great sense of direction since every single feckin' road was jammed :eek:! Of course 3G/4G was not working...

As a result it took us over 7 hours (instead of 3 and a half) to reach Presov and I feckin' missed the feckin' deadline (of course it had to be a feckin' Friday today when I had all Saturday morning free, the only free spot in our 15 days trip :rolleyes:).

And of course, after feckin' parroting in pre-season Ibra was going to score a feckin' load of goals this year, I feckin' wanted to (C) him for this feckin' GW and feckin' couldn't in the end and he feckin' delivered. And I'm feckin' annoyed! And I also feckin' wanted to put Amat ahead of Friend. And I feckin' didn't and I feckin' should have done it earlier in the GW and it feckin' sucks anyway and I'm feckin' gonna stop here this feckin' long and annoying post and call this feckin' GW over.
