Shaw has been getting much further forward today, while it was Valencia last week.

    Argument there to have both?

Yeah I'm currently on both Shaw and De Gea. Post wildcard Shaw/Valencia seems to make more sense. I've just been worried about Darmian getting a game here and there.

Pogba playing on the left of centre midfield looks to be bringing Shaw into the game a lot more

Darmian has been nowhere to be seen as of yet but yeah it could be an issue down the line.

Naturally I plumped for Valencia over Shaw :pac:

If they're taking turns rampaging them pick one otherwise you'll always have a United full back not looking at attacking points.

Might be worth it with the clean sheet potential though

Based on these first 70 minutes (I know it's only 70 minutes but please let me wildly speculate :pac:) he'll transform United's FPL points dramatically this season although I don't see him being warranted himself. Linking between defence and attack has been really clear.

If you'd asked me last week I'd have said your decision was the right one. Was so unsure about Ibra too all the way upto the first game, the site crashing actually saved me a decision to make, very glad I played it safe.

Pogba massively impressive as a footballer, but not for FPL.

I just can't believe so many people in my league have more than 1 United player at the back. Makes my 1 a disadvantage and it suits me more for them to concede.

Doesn't look like happening anyhow, this'll peter out 2-0 now

Yeah I just checked my main league and 3 of the top 4 have two United defenders. Don't mind them not conceding as Shaw will keep his bonus for me.

Keep thinking to myself that I hope Vardy outscores Ibra but I keep forgetting Vardy is playing the team I support!

    DDG and Redmond. Meh.

Won't know how damaging the Zlatan goals are until Vardy plays.

Is he getting 2 bonus? Site isn't working for me.

Very successful night all and all.

Will end this evening on 19 points from Ibra and DDG.

Could have been 32 had I left Ibra as captain.

I think the average is gonna be nice and high this weekend.

Hopefully Aguero at least matches Ibra's score tomorrow.

Looks like 26 with Zlatan, Shaw and Redmond. Good few have captained Zlatan in my main league so hoping for a good show from Aguero!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 687 ✭✭✭DakarVert

    Happy with that!

    Zlatan, DDG and Pogba. :)

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,274 ✭✭✭✭FHFC

Meh. Going without a United defender to accomodate the big frontline was always gonna mean taking a few high ownership clean sheets.

Hopefully Vardy and Aguero do the biz to balance it out.

15 from Redmond and the Zlatan.

Had a lousy week last week but decided to stick with it - good start so far Ibra(c) and Shaw - 29pts so far, hopefully the rest of my team will buck up their ideas this week lol
