Did McGregor just give the fw division the blueprint to beat him. I cant help but think aldo or edgar are thinking. Weather the first two rounds and pick him apart for the last 3.

Aldo definetly had the striking ability to do it, a gassed mcregor. Would get shredded by aldo.
No. Just no. McGregor winning a fight against a welterweight gives the featherwights he's already knocked out a blueprint to victory?

He has in fairness. The trick is to be bigger than him, heavier than him, more experienced than him and be slightly better than Nate. Easy.

Am I the only one who thinks thats FOTY so far? Absolute war, two guys just slugging it out and both guys showed so much heart and courage. Surprised Big John didn't have Diaz checked out at least once though, his eye looked welded shut in round 4 & 5

Wonder if McGregor will do this or just go straight for an x-ray. I think we might not see him.

Holy **** that was an insane battle!

I thought McGregor was done after the third. Diaz is one tough bastard.

I had it a draw. Have to watch it again tomorrow.

I don't think it's anywhere near Lawlor vs Condit or Wonderboy vs McDonald.

Don't know but my guess would be if Nate checked one of his leg kicks

One of the checked leg-kicks, I'd imagine.

I'd guess it happened on one of his leg kicks, adrenaline meant he could keep going

The decision was always going to go McGregor's way if it was in any way close. There's no money for the UFC in back to back defeats for their biggest star. In fairness to Conor he used the leg kicks very well, defended very will inside, blocking the shots and avoiding the takedown (until the last few seconds) A great fight that really could have gone either way. The decision sets up a 3rd fight, so everybody wins.

Guessing when a few of those leg kicks were checked.

Not sure at what point exactly but all those leg kicks he was connecting mostly with his foot instead of his shin, bound to do damage!

Everybody's entitled to their opinion on Conor McGregor but surely even his biggest detractors can't take away from that performance.

This is exactly my thoughts, even during the fight. Fair play.

Don't know when but Diaz checked one of the leg kicks and he broke his foot off his shin. Imagine something similiar to Silva being leg-checked by Weidman and his leg breaking. The shin is extremely tough and with the speed those guys are kicking, shin wins and breaks bone.

Should have thrown a bet down. Would have won a few sheckels. Maybe a gord even.
