There's a GAA pitch near the outfarm I have, there was a match on one day and it sounded like World War three had broken out, the language that was being roared was incredible.
As I was passing the pitch on the way home, I asked a fella coming out what big match was on. A girls U-16 game he replied:pac:

There was a bit of fun here last night at an u16 hurling match. Massive brawl and spectators and officials got involved.

They'll have to ban a few lads to crack down on that crap.

    Hurling in Kerry?

Suppose it's like football and Kilkenny.
You'd never hear those words in the same sentence.

Disgraceful racket particularly at U16 level. Them lads should be enjoying their hurling, expressing themselves on the pitch with every skill in the game. Not bateing seven shades of ****e outta each other!
I'd be looking at the sidelines and wondering what type of mentoring these boys are getting.
And I know young lads are no angels but some of the rubbish I hear from the line leaves a lot to be desired.

First hurling All Ireland won by Kerry. 9 senior clubs and nothing else but hurling played by most of them.

I've been to more hurling All Irelands than football ones.

    +1

There was a bit of history between the clubs and the lad that is rumoured to have started it but totally senseless. 2 lads seen by doctor, a 13yo who received the blows at the start and one lad hit by one of his own mentors, apparently.

We were at the community games a few years back and the best lad from our team was taken out of the game by lads pulling across him every time he got the ball for the whole match.

    He was 11.

Anyone remind me please about the retention period for QA cattle. Bought from a QA farm how long has he to be held to qualify for QA?
    Thanks

Thanks for the speedy reply. I had 70 in my head from non QA farm but I thought someone told me it was 40 from a QA farm. Does that make any sense or have I made it up?

Had a B Bia inspection lately (passed TG) but was asking the inspector what craic was as l thought I seen online somewhere that there was no min period once both farms were QA but it appears that is not the case. It's a pure joke really, he as much as agreed with me. QA should be QA.

For what it's worth I think genghis cant is a splendid name for a mod. Pity about the biffo end of things, at least I think he's a biffo. The last biffo that got a bit of power left some trail of ****e behind him!!!

Ya but it has 'sourced from QA farm(s)' it is very vague, then it goes on to say certain processors may demand a longer retention period on the final farm. I think 70 days covers the longest withdrawal periods.

someone I work with asked for a can of round up ages ago so I gave it to her and wouldn't take any money for it. She said the weeds wouldn't die so she bought me a years subscription to a raffle. Got a call off her today l- I won €650. Happy out the garage bill for van is €450 and a few quid to buy her something and to give a bit back to the hospice.

70 days covers most things but off the top of my head Imizol for redwater is a disaster for withdrawal time. It's over 200 days!
