I just had a call from the Dept giving out about animals on my CMMS that weren't tested. I'll have to do much better, he said.

I got the numbers and they are dead animals that I had taken off my register and the knackery had sent on the forms to the Dept to get them taken off but they hadn't been done over 2 months later.

And I'm at fault for this:rolleyes:

Usually sorted then but this test was a paper and pen test. I haven't had one of those in a good few years so we had to wait for the checking of written numbers against CMMS.

We sat down after reading and sorted them then.

Then I get a call telling me off for something I have no responsibility for. There are days I fekking hate this crap:(

The more exposure I have to the Dept, the lower my will to live is:o

Are you on agfood? You can check that any movement has been done properly on it, I check off any deaths/sales etc once every few weeks. Have you been on to the knackery about it as the onus is on them to record the death to keep their records right too

Dept blame me, Knackery blame the Dept, either way, I get shafted.

I stay away from Agfood, our internet is too slow and I have to keep re registering to get anything done.

Life's too short for this rubbish.

I'll leave it alone till early monday when there is no internet activity and I'll log on before milking to see have they been taken off.

Open tank here is full with a heavy skin on top which has a fleece of growth on it. No fresh slurry has gone into the tank in the last two years so I know it's mainly run off from the yard that's underneath.
Would there be any fertiliser value in old slurry like that.

Don't take any crap from them. You paid for the removal of the carcasses and have the required paperwork from the knackery to prove same. You are required to hand up the blue card to the knackery at the time of collection, record the death in your blue book and keep the knackery receipt for 5 years (I think). That's it. It is not your responsibility or obligation to oversee the flow of information between the knackery and Dept.
Never let ineptness in others affect your humour/day.

Yes you're at fault, & when you point out the mistake to them (Dept) it's called a computer error.

I gave up even trying years ago.

I was onto the beef genomics section yesterday so see where was money for 2015.- all along fault was on us to complete forms to transfer scheme from dad to mam due to bereavement. All forms back with months. - he then blamed it on a computer error. Bottom line- no beef scheme money for 9 months.

2 shootings reported. One in a shopping centre and the other in a metro station. SWAT teams currently clearing both locations for the individuals responsible

There's a lot of tourists around this year.
Sister owns a shop and there's all nationalities here this year from Asian, US then French and German. Never really seen it as busy.
Must have been a big promotion of the country abroad.

Is it really any worse ??
Ironically the 1972 Olympics in that exact spot was attacked and a few hostages killed, then there were a string of hijackings. The Iranian embassy in London, Hyde park bombing, genocide in boznia, and none of that touches on African massacres.

Maybe it's coming closer to home and we have it streamed live into our phone or living room, but I'm not convinced it's much worse.

I was at the royal Welsh Show during the week, unreal heat, over a dozen sheep died and a couple calves over the week.
All the animals are indoors and there's barely room to walk between the sheep, the temperature outdoors on Tuesday was over 30 degrees

Few years since last there, the site seems to be in a bowl that amplifys the heat and humidity alot.

    It looks like some show.
Used to watch it live on s4c (forgot to look at it this year:().
They have all the breeds of animals at it and then the showing of the welsh ponies and cobs in the main ring.
