I'm just back from Verona, had donkey meat ragu with gnocchi.

    Wasn't bad.

    Preferred the horse meat!

    Pineapple on pizza is amazing.

Just read this post to my 8yo daughter and her reply was.
    And I quote

    "He's lacking "

I think that's all she wrote on the pineapple debate

It probably uses filters made from woven spider silk gathered by tribeswomen of a remote province in Papua New Guinea, and shipped to Europe by a genuine clipper sailing ship crewed by 7th generation Portuguese mariners...

So I finally got around to watching Suicide Squad. What a mess of a film. Can't help but think the DC films would have been better off focusing on building the universe the same way the Marvel stuff has been done before launching into the team stuff. They just had far too much ground to cover to introduce all the characters which just led the the first half being a hacked up, thrown together series of snapshots of some of the characters. The second half was just a series of action scenes in a story that had no depth to it at all. Bad guys trying to kill everyone to take over with some weapon that levitated stuff off the ground. Hello Man Of Steel. Motivations? Just cause. They are bad guys. As for some of the dialogue.....ugh it was cringe worthy in parts.

Also, Jared Letos Joker is pretty crap. There's absolutely nothing special from him that we haven't seen from dozens of gangsters in the past. He's no master villain. Except he manages to accomplish master villain type stuff without us ever finding out how.

They're literally doing the exact opposite of how Marvel built their universe, introducing main characters with cameos in team up movies before giving them their solo movie. Zach Snyder needs to be kept so incredibly far away from WBs DC properties going forward.

Haven't seen SS myself. Actually refuse to see it. I've seen a few people online that have seen it before and after the reshoots and they just sound like two different movies.

Isn't there already a fifth province? Tara or meath... It's why the Irish for 'province' translates as 'fifth'.

Two Pups on francis Street or proper order in Smithfield for coffee. Two fifty square's is amaze, if you can handle the attitudes.

Any recommendations for breakfast Dregin, what about the places you mentioned?

That is a massively good question. You are forgiven for your earlier transgressions

Butcher Grill in Ranelagh for breakfast lunch and dinner. Dillingers and the greenery too. If you're driving, farmhouse cafe beside aldi on the long mile road is homemade everything with all the meat sourced from their own farm. Staff are lovely too.

    Dillingers is just awesome.

I've managed a bit of a diet by doing the following, which I have found quite effective but also sustainable

    1) I still eat whatever I want for the 3 staple meals
    2) I eat nothing (zilch, nada) in between those 3 meals
    3) I avoid all sweet drinks and fruit juices, alcoholic drinks in moderation.

I found previously that anything that involves eating less at main meal-times leaves me starving, and after a few days I just give up.

I've been doing the current system for about 3 months now, I can manage it fine, and I've lost a few kgs.

OK, I'm not going to be Mr Swiss with this model, but it's manageable, and leaves me with a quality of life that celery sticks and a glass of skim milk doesn't.

I'm trying to go down the route of changing my workout from largely weights to more cardio and core exercises along with reduced calories. I'm trying to still eat loads but have the meal bulked up by low calorie veg, mainly broccoli. I'll try to have a healthy snack in between meals to keep me going. I'm hoping that after a week or so my body will adjust

This seems sensible. I always do the opposite. I starve myself for about a week and while I'll lose a couple of kilos in a week I quickly fall off the wagon as it's totally unsustainable. It's all down to impatience.

Also, I've repeatedly found that other coffee shops doing 3Fe coffee actually make better drinks than 3Fe themselves do.

The Silverskin coffee kiosk in front of the Isreali Embassy / Ballsbridge Hotel does great coffee.

Base pizza in ballsbridge is a good bet for your pizza and coffee needs in one.

The pizza is pricey but it's brilliant alright.

I'm not sure if you're actively seeking out the same treatment that molloyjh gets or not?

Have you parodied so hard that you have become what you always hated?
