How's the beard coming along? Do you go to the same barber as molloyjh? Which brand of small-farm-coffee are you drinking at the moment?

Molloy had his moustache oiled into a curl at the ends at the weekend.

Bunsen is the reason most D4 lads aren't impressed by five guys. Superior burger, less money.

I was staying with a friend last weekend who is an athlete and it's just the worst feeling when you have an unhealthy diet and someone puts you to shame like that. For them it's all peanuts and yoghurt and avocados and for me its all pepperoni pizzas and chicken pizzas and other kinds of pizzas.

Nuts and Avacados are full of fat. They're "good" fats but that only counts if you're doing regular exercise. Obviously your friend is but if your not you're probably just as well eating pizza.

    Ha! :D

My fiance gets really frustrated at me sometimes because I can eat like a pig and not put on any weight.

Is bunsen that good? I had it once and it was grand...only grand.

She's off for the week with work si me and the little ones will be sampling a burger joint on Friday night. Hearing good reports from the generator hostel in smithfield.

I rate Bunsen as decent. Nowhere near as good as it's made out to be but I wouldn't say no to it at the same time.

I don't get the burger craze though. I mean they're still just burgers. You could make them at home as easy.

How many chia seeds out of 5 would you give it?

And more importantly, whats the top few Dublin spots on the Molloyjh Guide?

Well Taco Taco has to be up there for nachos. Quite fond of the Green Hen. The Greenery does a good brunch. Outside Dublin The Hungry Monk in Greystones is great. I'm quite boring really lads, sorry.

If I remember right .ak is actually a producer of hipster food. He actually fuels the creation of little molloyjh's across the city. Us non-Dublin Leinster people are bewildered by the whole thing.

I thought I remembered our number 2 hipster recommending it before. I've even considered pitt bros for Friday evening...reckon my 3 and myself would demolish their meat platter in minutes!!

3fe pretty much are the dogs dangly bits. Also recommend clement and pekoe, the bald barista or two fifty square in rathmines.

I love coffee more than i love my missus.

Some time ago I was meeting friends at a local pizzeria. It being post workout I fancied some brotein; after scanning the menu, nothing quite seemed to meet my requirements so I innocently asked:

"Can I have a chicken Pizza?"

    "No"

    "Do you... have chicken?"

    "Yes"

    "And do you... make pizzas?"

    "Yes"

"So could you.... make a pizza... and then maybe..... put some chicken on it?"

    <laughs> "...No"

    <awkward silence until I ordered something else>

It was my first time learning that chicken pizzas are considered opprobrious in Italy...

Needless to say, I was lucky to escape with my life the time I ordered a ham and pineapple....

I think (hope) I'll be back in Dublin by December if I can get finished with a project in time... I am looking forward to properly sampling this long list of places.

Bunsen is grand. Nice burgers, good sweet potato fries.

My only gripe would be the shake. At today's exchange rate €4.50 = $4.96. It's a pretty good shake, but it's not a five dollar shake.

Shake just takes up extra space.

Extra space that could be used for another burger.

People who eat pineapple on a pizza should be fired directly into the sun. It's so many different levels of wrong.

    Permanently?

The posters of this forum should all go to dublin airport on the morning of your arrival to welcome you home. We can stand in a line and clap as you walk past.

So I probably shouldn't mention that when we have those pizza Fridays in work I go for the chicken, pineapple and mushroom one :P

I actually don't mind chicken on a pizza tbh. Can be nice of done well. Our local place does a good Thai chicken pizza. It's just pineapple thats punishable by incineration.
