100%. One of the worst games of football I've ever seen.

Is it just me or was that match pretty poor?

Diarmuid Connelly is some f**ker. He must have struck that Mayo lad about 3 times in that jersey pulling incident. How does he get away with it?

Wet greasy conditions, Mayo played a very defensive game, Dublin were poor, it was never going to be a spectacle, but it was high-intensity and gripping throughout for me. Finals are rarely great games with so much at stake. Ref was very inconsistent, Aidan O'Shea and McAuley were very lucky to stay on the pitch, as was Cillian O'Connor. The black card for McCarthy was pretty harsh too. I think he was playing for the draw at the end, more money for the GAA...

Seriously? He struck his arm to get him to let go of his jersey - Keegan tore the jersey nearly off him FFS.

They were both holding each other, Keegan was pulling his jersey a bit when Connolly struck him in the face and then tried to tear Keegan's jersey off him with serious force, then struck him again.

You could argue they were both as bad as each other in that incident but Connolly has form. Maybe if he had been sent off Dublin would have won because he wouldn't have been there to force Kilkenny to let him take that last sideline ball which he screwed up allowing Mayo to come back.

So does Keegan. They're both superb footballers and both gob****es.

LOL. Keegan's jersey was fine, Connolly's was hanging off him in shreds. You're reaching now.... Keegan was trying to provoke him all game, if that was the best he could do he should stick to playing ball...

I don't watch a lot of GAA, but neither team played well, and neither deserved to win IMO. But it was very entertaining - just the thing for a wet afternoon.

I'm not reaching at all. Watch it back. Connelly gets a nice grip of Keegan's shirt and then pulls him down towards the ground. It didn't rip but that doesn't mean he didn't try. He also made contact with his face/head about 3 times before that.

Connolly punched Keegan in the face at least twice during that incident.
    No reaching going on.

The way Keegan was ripping the jersey off him he had it coming. There'd be a lot less hand wringing going on after games if players didn't pull and drag so much. When I played if you did that **** you expected a dig...

He struck Keegan before his shirt was pulled off.

Anyone see in the news that a cyclist was killed during a race in the paralympics?

    Poor guy

Keegan's a niggly player. There was plenty worse on both sides for less provocation. Keegan had hold of his jersey for a long time and wouldn't let go. Yellow card for both for that nonsense was the right decision.
