As bad as Trumps remarks were about '****hole' countries it's kinda worrying that Republicans are basically saying it's just what everyone is thinking. Then I see this on reddit which is on the dailymail at the moment. Talk about propaganda taking the worst images of each 'not white' country and then idolising Norway. I despair at the thought that my kids will grow up in a world that has turned it's back decency and embraces the fictional right wing fantasies of Rupert Murdoch.

I've only been to the sportsground for the dogs, never been for the rugby.

Used the spa in the ice house in Ballina after our wedding last month. Hot tubs on the banks of the river in the middle of a monsoon are class craic. The massage there was great. Spent that week going around hotels getting random massages and herself's skin broke out thanks to all the bloody oil. Had a pedicure in another place. I expected them to dig into every crack and crevice, but they barely clipped my toe nails. Pointless.

We could drop a beer bong down from the roof. Like an airplane oxygen supply.

Yep that’s what I was thinking, only small amounts for Mfceilling though

The sportsground is a great spot for a match. I head along when visiting relatives over there even if Leinster aren't playing.
I'm convinced that they've developed some sort of climate weapon to "encourage" people to buy Connacht gear, though. On more than one occasion I've had to layer up with goods from the shop. Baltic.

You see, the problem isn't so much the beer itself getting hot. It's the top of the aluminium can that gets balls hot which makes drinking it problematic. A plastic funnel might not have the same issue but it could still cause problems.

You simply need an inbuilt fridge.

Margins on fridges aren't great, and my clientelle are the sort of people who would rather someone else handles the opening/closing of fridge doors for them.

    Well that was interesting!!

Massage was great. Tiny little foreign girl with the strength of a prop forward. I told her I have a sore shoulder and fair play to her, she rooted and messed around with it and I came out feeling brand new!!

Facial was a load of balls but she gave me a head massage and that was class.

Pedicure actually wasn't too bad. I'm on my feet all day so getting rid of the hard skin and her massaging the soles of my feet did seem to take the tiredness from them.

All in all I can see why people would do these things. I definitely will stick to a routine of having a regular massage but I'll leave the other stuff to the ladies.

    She rooted, huh?

    That kind of “massage”.

For us NFLers, Jacksonville have made a huge start at Pittsburgh...

Terrible sport, no time for it at all. Especially Florida teams.

Very interested in seeing that defense against Brady.

Blake Bortles could play in a Championship game. There's hope for us all.

Could you imagine that team with a good QB. They'd be unstoppable.

Massive play for the Steelers, TD before HT.

Game of the season. Would like the Steelers to do it but I think the Jags are set up better to beat the Patriots.

Aside from their quarterback, that is.

I reckon they're loathe to shelve BB after taking him with such a high pick a couple of years back.

Perhaps, though that is a particularly stupid way of looking at it.

He's not good enough - or at least not consistent enough.

He's only on the fifth year option for 19m next year, just guaranteed for injury.

So I think they can cut him.

Why did Tomlin opt for an onside kick. Daft.

  • Moderators, Sports Moderators Posts: 29,657 Mod ✭✭✭✭Podge_irl

That's some pretty ropey game management from the Steelers

To get someone of propery quality they'll need to be paying that anyway. This is a league where Ryan Fitzpatrick got $12m for one season at the Jets. Or Mike Glennon who got $16m at the Bears this year.

An elite QB is incredibly hard to get. They'll definitely be making enquiries for guys but it's unlikely they can attract anyone decent for less money. Alex Smith has a potential out this year which could be interesting with Mahomes being the big investment for the future at the Chiefs.

Or they could just completely roll the dice on the draft but that's never too likely. For every Deshaun Watson there's three Tim Tebows.
