Surely we can see what he's brought already from last week.

Just as predicted, we're using our huge pack and grinding them down up front and with our kick chase. Brilliant stuff and a massive vindication of an eyebrow raising selection.

Fantastic showing. We have to admit SA have been absolutely brutal though by their standards.

Trimble and Ruddock probably our best players so far but everyone stepping up to the mark it must be said. Murray having a fine game too.

we have seen it in the first half. Our defence is up, fast, in their face, a solid line, hitting hard and attacking the ball.

This is mental :D on the verge of a series victory in SA. With a relatively new team. **** the critics.

Huge commitment from all the Irish players and keeping mistakes to a minimum.

Ruddock and Trimble two stand outs
    Jackson and Best also

And scrum going well - so kudos to newbies Furlong and Roux

for all the criticism Joe gets for having wingers who can ruck, Trimbles ruck work there justifies that idea. He didnt just try to protect the ball, he went through the ruck. If Joe leaves after this tour his loss will be massive.

What a debut so far from Roux. Been immense in the scrum, ruck, and lineout. Completely vindicated his selection.

Our back row are just great, as usual.

The try wouldn't have been scored without that clear out. Looks even better in slow motion.

When was the last time Ireland put in two performances this accurate and controlled in a row? Amazing stuff.

hard to understand on form. but bulkwise the right choice

Looks like Whiteley and Combrinck on at half time.

Ruddock is ripping it up. Henderson looking strong. Paddy cool as ice. Payne looks threatening every time he runs with the ball. Has to be nailed on as fullback now. Toner solid and powered over for the try like the total pro he is. Impressed by Roux and our scrum has been immense. Our whole team has had a great first half. Would be real disappointing if we didn't win this one now. SA are weak and we have won the psychological battle as well as the physical battle so far. C'MON IRELAND!!!

    Yeah.
All doing well far as I can tell.
Ruddock my man of the half so far, or maybe PJ. Can't decide.

Payne can never wear any other number again in green if you ask me.

SA are as bad as the Aussies were this morn, if not even worse, but who cares!!!

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,641 ✭✭✭Dog Botherer

Coetzee has put the fear of God in them at half time.

    Amazing.

    SA are rubbish.

Fantastic game from Ruddock. He sure likes raw Springbok.

Toner very fine again, quite apart from the try, and Payne really showing up how handicapped we have been playing a one dimension fullback for the last few years, having a great game again.

Seriously there for the taking now.

And they drop it. As always.
