Yeah they are the pellets I was referring to, they've gone up to 11 euro since I last bought them last year at 9.99. In my Woodies they are near the tills among the other fuels like coal, logs, etc. A bag lasts ages, Ive had mine almost a year now and its still got a quarter to go.

Anyone tried or recommend a sourdough pizza dough?
One you make not buy I hasten to add.
    Thanks

This one works out great: https://www.pizzamaking.com/forum/index.php?topic=20477.0

Also, quite a good video on a slightly different process: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ckxfSacDbzg&feature=youtu.b

Have my eye on one but was going to hold out until Black Friday. Not sure if that’s wise?

I wish Ooni would just let their stock go into back order... it’s a pain to have to wait for stuff to come in to order it. It’s clear there will be delays but at least if you could place your order and they process them in the order received they should be able to indicate current wait times etc

I'm still waiting for Selfridge's to ship my Ooni with the 20% off from Sunday night... They've taken payment for the shipping but not the oven.... The wait to see if its cancelled is rather annoying...

I am hoping that someone may be able to offer so advice. I have had an ooni pizza oven bought for me as a gift.
The only issue seems to be that it is meant for the countries with 30mbar pressure not the standard 37 mbar that the gas regulator work at here. Will this be an issue for me if I was to use a 37mbar reg or can I get different pressured gas cylinders over here.
Thanks in advance for any help.

NB, below are similar, but different pressures, You may be able to follow troubleshooting though, or ask the posters themselves.

Would you be able to get the receipt?. Another poster had the Dane issue and got theirs replaced by ooni:-

Think there are a few other references to the issue, do maybe do a quick search for "37bar", filter by date then look for the Pizza Oven thread.

You should be able to get an order status on their website.

I am thinking of trying to have it replaced. A live chat with Ooni confirmed that it wouldn't work with 37mbat pressured gas.
If I though I could source a 30mbar cylinder I would consider hanging on to it as on their website they are saying expected delivery date for the correct oven is mid February. I will be disappointed to have to wait that long to use it for the first time.

The 30 and 37 use an identical burner. The 50 is different. No point in replacing the 30.

    Are you sure about that?
Would there be any safety issues.
The live chat with ooni said that it wouldn't work

I’ve been using one for months. The technical spec of the burner is identical in the product documentation. 0.75mm injectors. See link

Had a look on the Ooni website to see if they have any early Black Friday deals, was thinking of getting the pizza peel if it is a decent price. But instead was faced with it being £65  I could of sworn it was around £35 back in the summer so Im guessing they increased the price just to drop it back down again on Black Friday

The cheapo peel I use at the moment has no handle, you need to wear an oven glove when retreiving the pizza or you burn the hands off yourself. I wouldnt recommend getting one without a handle, mine will be only used for launching pizzas when I do upgrade with a proper one. I need to find one with a foldable or removeable handle so I can fit it in the kitchen drawers.

Was thinking of getting the gas attachment now that they're discounted for Black Friday. Anyone know how much getting a full one of those 11kg grey patio gas cylinders is, I think there is some deposit? Also how long are users finding 11kg of gas lasting, are you getting a lot of cooks out of it?

I bought my gas in April for 60 I think for 11kg propane including deposit. I still have it :D what I do is use a luggage scale to figure out what is left on the bottle, but you will get months out of a bottle even if you’re using it a few days a week. It’s fairly miserly on gas I find. Regularly leave it on for 30mins before cooking and a few mins after

Or, if you slowly pour a jug of hot water down the side of the bottle, you'll be able to feel where the gas comes up to because that part will be colder :)
