    Watchmen... a brilliant opening scene...

Aye-yi-yi-yi-yi!, as Alpha might say, because it's Watchmen that moves forward to Round 2. Next up is a very intriguing Marvel movie clash...

    Spider-Man

    Guardians of the Galaxy.

What a f*cking film. The riskiest of the MCU films to date considering how little the characters are known and how much of a departure it is from the other MCU films (with Thor being the closest one), but still one of the best MCU films.

Spider-Man was a big hit in the early 2000s but it proves no match for Guardians of the Galaxy, which moves on to Round 2. Next up we have a DC vs Marvel meeting from the 90s...

    Batman Forever

Blade by a mile. Absolutely love the Blade series, well 1 and 2 anyway.

  • Registered Users Posts: 45,535 ✭✭✭✭Mr.Nice Guy

Not even Nicole Kidman can save Batman Forever as Blade advances to Round 2. Next up we have an all-Marvel clash...

    Iron Man 3

Wasn't a big fan of either but I'd have to go with Wolverine.

The Wolverine - really enjoyed it, and it made up for the previous Wolverine solo film.

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,873 ✭✭✭Brief_Lives

    The Wolverine...
Not a great movie, but better than watching Trevor Slattery murder the image of The Mandarin..

  • Registered Users Posts: 45,535 ✭✭✭✭Mr.Nice Guy

The Wolverine proves up to scratch and advances. Next up we have an interesting clash of styles as we see a recent film take on a 90s one...

Wow, interesting match, was not expecting to see The Mask in this tournament.

I think I'll go with The Mask. Will be interesting to see how it fares.

Age of Ultron wins out, leaving The Mask green with envy. Next up we've a 2000s film versus a late 70s one...
