    Are the first type of VDSL2 cabinets deployed by eir white/grey ?

    Do we know if these have vectoring or likely to get super vectoring ?

    I’ve attached a pic, only getting 18/5 about 800m from the cabinet.


    The pic attached is actually a mini exchange (UGM).

    Do we know if vectoring or super vectoring can be launched from that kind of set up ?

    I would assume what you're looking at is an existing RSU that has had a new unit installed for the new kit when it got rehomed into its own EXCH.

    I'm pretty sure all upgrades over copper have been cancelled as they plan on fibre to the home in urban areas next year

    Yes. The supervectoring plans have been put on hold, as there is plans to go full on FTTH in urban areas once the 300k is completed mid 2019.

    Eir's new ownership didn't see the value in VDSL upgrades.
