Tuna-fish Pizza with Sweetcorn, Red Onion and Mushroom ftw

A drop of tabasco sauce on it if you like a little heat

I don't Luke pineapple unless it's on pizza! None of that fresh stuff though, it has to be soggy tinned pineapple. Yum!

I will often add my own can of pineapple chunks to a take out Hawaiin pizza. With the added juice soaked up by the base. A sweet soggy mess. But delicious after a few pints..

NOPE. I tried it and I don't get it. The fella lobs pineapple on his pizza whenever we deliver, regardless of what else is on it. I just don't get it.

My ideal pizza is half chorizo, pepperoni, salami and sweet chilli peppers; half chorizo, grounf beef, pepperoni, sausage and feta cheese. Mmmmmmm.

I liked pineapple on pizza as a kid. I grew up and got tastebuds though :p

If I get a takeaway pizza it's Dominos 'The Sizzler'. Those jalapeños...

If making homemade pizza toppings are roasted cherry tomatoes, fresh rocket and Parmesan. Glug of olive oil and a little fresh chilli!

How is the yes vote winning here?

This is worse than when Homer Simpson got voted student president.

Surely the mods can "adjust" the results?

It s a no no for me. That s the first thing I check when ordering a pizza.
    Then it is sweetcorn.

For the people that voted yes : Never ever ask to add pineapple on a pizza when you are in Italy. It is for your own safety :-)

The f*ck is wrong with (60% of) you people?

I wouldn't be a big fan to be honest. I always associated it with awful cheap frozen pizzas. Until recently when I had a jerk chicken and pineapple pizza in that Dough Brothers place in Galway. It was amazing!

I like it, don't get it very often though unless it's an end of the night two slice job from Fast Als.

The only thing I will never have on a pizza are mushrooms. Things should be exterminated like Stewie wanted rid of broccoli

I wouldnt even be that bothered ordering pizza if it didnt have pineapple. It's the best part.

If you served that up to an Italian, they would weep. And not with joy.

Must be the other half of you that likes the pineapple. :o

Spent some time in the 'States, the Italians brought pizza with 'em, so the pizza you get in and around New York is probably fairly close to the original.

Not a pineapple in sight. And with good reason. Even if it was a good idea - which it isn't - on a NY/Italian style pizza it would be total overkill.

I tried it and hated it. No for me.

NY pizza is nothing like an Italian pizza. Same as our Chinese food is westernised and completely different to the original thing.

I don't like pineapple anyway but there is something extra rank about it hot on a pizza. It shouldn't be allowed.

Any italian I know that moves to Ireland cannot believe that people put pineapple on a pizza, it's a concept totally alien to them.

Not the biggest fan of pineapple so I'd have to say no to it in anything

If you have a hankering for the real deal, Antica Pizzeria Port'Alba in Napoli is lauded by locals as the world's first pizzeria since it opened it's doors in 1830.

Pizza is still cooked in wood-fired ovens lined with lava rocks from nearby Mount Vesuvius.

Some cool little bookshops either side of the eatery are a bonus too, where you can sit & drink coffee while people-watching (a favourite Italian pastime).
