It was a very aggressive play though to be fair, fairly low percentage. Maybe should have kept the pressure up

Looked hurt straight away to me.

If the referee halted play every time a player on the wrong side was shouting or potentially hurt, we'd have multiple stops every game.

Aki would have scored there if his leg hadn't been broken earlier. :p

How did we let them out so easily :(

  • Registered Users Posts: 24,197 ✭✭✭✭Buer

Should be a penalty. Was never an effort to catch the ball.

Earls completely burnt by Aki there?

That was what I noticed first. Some pace, or has Earls lost a yard or two that I didn't notice?

If Slappy Simon Zebo did touch that it's a penalty and a yellow.

Bundee running past Munster men when he had a prosthetic leg installed by the physio 3 minutes beforehand was the greatest thing I've ever seen tbh

Interesting that Connacht are never told to use the ball when they have the upper hand in the scrum.

Ref is being utterly inconsistent. He's farcical at this stage.

Bloody hell Connacht are giving Munster a spanking here.

There's only one thing farcical here at this stage, and it's not the ref.

Did Bealham score that try with a broken jaw?

  • Registered Users Posts: 14,150 ✭✭✭✭LuckyGent88

Fair play to Connacht. Just so much better than us.

Saw stander limping there, hope he is alright for the summer tour

He's the definition of a homer. Connacht could/would have probably won the game anyway as they are the better side, but Munster were well on top before Whitehouse put his finger on the game.

You can't blame connacht though. They have been very impressive.

    Things to note

    - Connacht are playing their 3rd choice open-side and 4th choice outhalf.

    - Buckley is sticking 2 fingers up to Joe

    - It can't come sooner for Aki to be in the Irish jersey. More exciting than CJ getting the jersey

    - Sean O'Brien has to be picked for Ireland so he can play in the backrow with the other Sean O'Brien to confuse opponents!

Ryan unconscious again by the looks of it. That's his season and summer over.
