You honestly think this talking head would exist pre abuse scandals?

I take people in good faith. If people are doing a good thing and saying good things it has to be good in general. Shur you could say anything about anyone who ever does something good otherwise. Oh look Adi Roche only doing that work because she has nothing better to do.

I generally take the criticism of the church and as an atheist would be very interested in criticizing the church myself, but not that a move in the positive direction is some bad thing because it masks something or is a diversion or whatever.. that's nonsense. Never, ever criticize people for heading in the right direction or saying a good thing.

In a world of so many problems and bad things going on, why would you feel the need to say something like that about a man like Brian D'arcy?

    'Die Hard' on Channel 4

    But...but...IT'S NOT CHRISTMAS!

The Sky feckers buy it up every year to show exclusively at Christmas now, it was as traditional as brussels sprouts and they took it away

I still say RTE should make Ireland's own answer to 'Saturday Night Live' instead of Ray D...I mean, another chat show.

'Saturday Night Loive' - comedy sketches and music.

Oh her, I thought it was the one with no arms and legs.

    MOD:
Her name is Joanne O'Riordan. And she deserves a little more respect than your post thanks

Before the eulogising of Wogan begins, look at his comments about the Hillsborough victims.

What did Wogan say about them? Not some Tory spin on how the victims were to blame for their own deaths I hope?

The head police officer on duty on the day admitted lying at the coroners inquest the other day. Says he's really sorry for lying and putting the relatives through all their grief. About 30 years too late

She wants to riff, but Ray sticks to the cue cards - YOU WERE ADOPTED. DISCUSS.

Good god, this one's accent is doing my head in. The Americanised twang to the D4 type angle is awful.

Comedian from one of the RTE comedy shows on a Monday night. She lost tonnes of weight last year.

I don't mind Joanne, I've seen far less funny people masquerading as comedians on RTE.

why is she on this telling us about her private life. Its not even fair on her birth parents.

  • Registered Users Posts: 8,719 ✭✭✭sudzs

She is the loud person next to you at the bar who flicks her hair and gets you in the eye several times so your friends have to restrain you.

Speaking of comedy, I would've thought the IFTA's would be on tonight :D

Ah, I'm only messing. Sure I was given away myself twice for being an argumentative baby.
