Can someone who is strong on the rules explain the difference between coming through the middle of a ruck and it being ok and coming through the middle of a ruck and being pinged for taking out the 9????
If the 9 doesn't have hands on the ball, it's a no no.

Leinster defence is way too organised for a sloppy attack like that

If a player is the designated 9 at a ruck i.e. behind the hindmost foot and ball, looking to play the ball, you cannot take him out. You can counter ruck and drive through those in front of him to get to the ball.

Filthy Munster cheats concede a penalty on the half way line to give Leinster possession in their 22.

Munster defending very well and, more importantly, with a lot of discipline.

Most Glorious Leinster's brave attempt to spread the ball wide ends in misfortune ending their enterprising attack

Jesus, Leinster. If you're going to go wide, please fix your bloody man first. Not just slinging it out, leading to a nothing kick.

Billy Holland with 2 lineout steals. Rory scannell massive in defense.

Cowardly Munster resort the kicking the ball down into the Leinster 22

Brave Leinster elect to kick the ball down into the Munster 22

"Rules are optional" shouts Munster forward as he concedes a penalty deep in his own 22, giving Sexton an opportunity to kick at goal

  • Registered Users Posts: 37,978 ✭✭✭✭irishbucsfan

Sexton's bravery is unpredictable, and he decides to kick magnificently into the stands and give Leinster a lineout 5 meters out.

    What. The. ****. Cronin.

    Leinster's lineout is muck!

  • Registered Users Posts: 7,415 ✭✭✭CMOTDibbler

The dirty baxtards are at it again. They could get a yellow card and it would be well deserved. :(

And now the thieving cnuts have taken our lineout ball

A suspect gust of Southerly wind disrupts a creative lineout from Leinster, and Munster accidentaly win a scrum up near the half-way line

Cronin not good enough. Cant hit his man with consistency. Time to move treaty up.

All our lineouts to be fair. There's some chicanery going on with them red feckers before each lineout. They've been warned though.

Would that be the Treaty of Limerick? :pac:

In typical non-passing fasion, Te'o produces a lovely pass out on the wing as part of a promising Leinster attack. A few phases later Leinster tighten the screw and disect the Munster back 3.

Munster continuing their surprising tactic of conceding penalties on most Leinster possessions, we'll see how that works out for them
