Great try, could be a long night for Connacht

Connacht jumper was very dangerously dropped by his own men in the lineout for the try.

    Difficult six day turnaround.

Moreso because they keep making stupid mistakes in good positions

And on the edge of the rules repeatedly

    Best place to be

Ref is extremely finicky for both sides at the breakdown. Rare to see someone so quick on the whistle.

But early to be talking about a bonus point

Commentator has mistaken Gilroy and Payne for Jackson now. It's like Neely is still there :)

I find him pedantic and inconsistent so far.

On BBC? Not much. Neither of them really seems to know what's going on.

    Off the bleeding post.

Connacht cannot get a break in this game

Penalty against best for playing the ball from offside?

This commentator is way nicer to listen to than Neilly. Certainly better than listening to Gaeilge.

Not as many amateur era clichés as Jim, just doesnt give out that same its-still-1983 vibe.

In fairness if he's fourth choice he's obviously not a good kicker.. Cartys rubbish and Ronaldson kicking from centre shows the general kicking calibre of the natural 10s.

Surely should be a yellow for pulling the scrum half into the ruck?

I prefer him to Jim anyway.
