Hi all,
Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.

    Not at all... just keep an eye out for towering anvils heading your way. Unlikely though in the SE . Main risk in further NW inland.

    With a SE flow not great as storms will be either a) only initiating here then moving NW or b) Have to wait for any night time imports tomorrow night from Wales. Just like what is occurring now but with a better chance tomorrow of storms being active when they make the transit across the Irish sea.

    Probably having to go over the silvermines and then Lough derg helped. There is more coming that way.

    It seems to be over the southern shores of Galway bay.
    I can't see the lighting, but the thunder is almost continuous.

    We have just been treated to an amazing thunder and lightning show over Galway City. Almost 15 mins of continuous strikes and thunder. Haven't seen the likes since I was last in the south of France in the summer.
