    Distant thunder to be heard in my location in West Clare. Lots of very Dark looking clouds, although they have been in the same location for most of the day.

    Looking at the rainfall radar some very heavy outbursts across the country at the moment.

    I've found this webcam from the national coastwatch. It's looking directly at that storm system.

    It's not live though updates every few seconds or so.

    A nice cell producing some spectacular, somewhat frequent lightning making it's way through central Switzerland.

    It's been very warm all week considering it's early April - around 20 C :eek:

    Heard a good clap off of that! Heavy showers have been passing through here since 1pm, wind calm now but some very dark skies around. Also sunny now! (Won't last!)

    There are some very shiney white clouds on the satellite cloud cover images around Clare and south of Galway at the moment

    Few strikes recorded just off Arklow in streamer.

    Perhaps a streamer will line up into Dublin in next 2hrs? Could be wintry in nature.

    Yup, around 12:20 North of me in Ashtown D7. Followed by a shower of light hail / snow.

    I was just heading down to the river, with fishing rod in hand....nope :)

    Had a hoor of a hail shower here near Arklow just finished
    It has house alarms going off
    Didn't hear any thunder but the sky is alive with CB so was expecting some
