    Lukaku in for Costa

    Could bank but wildcarding soon so no point.

    Judas/Clyne in for Cedric or Targett.

    Probably Targett out of sheer stubbornness.

    Was going to get rid of my punt turned bench stinker Mane but with Kompany out throwing Williams in for the couple weeks. Someone for Mane next week then WC mathematical degree time.

    No WC so need to start building towards the DGWs. With two free transfers I'm thinking of Kompany to Clyne and Vardy to Lukaku.

    It's rare that I gravitate towards Liverpool defence but 2x doubles and no blank is making pushing me in that direction. Is Clyne the safest bet for starting?

    I think Moreno is more likely to be rotated than Clyne.

    His attacking returns have largely been brutal all year though.

    I'm probably going to go with Lovern for the DGW, seems to have remembered he's a professional footballer at last and is a threat from set pieces once Milner manages to get the ball in the box

    I don't think his place is secure at all while Skrtel and Sakho are fit.

    If Klopp has any sense which of course he does in spades, then he'll leave Skrtel on the bench for the rest of the season then get rid in the summer. I would say Lovren is definitely his preferred choice...

    Skrtel was sent off playing for the u21s last night.

    Agreed...Liverpool's recent relative good defensive form (changed from total omnishambles to merely borderline catastrophic) has coincided with Skrtel being out of the team.

    He's also stopped shaving his head so no longer even looks menacing which was his main attribute

    What's Flanagans status in that defence lads?

    Too much of a risk likely to get some league games. If Liverpool progress in Europe he will play more league games as he isn't registered for Europe.

    Seems to be liked by Klopp and just signed a new contract.

    Would prefer him over Moreno myself.

    Also guaranteed to get booked against Everton

    2 punts for me:

    Ozil -> Siggurdsson
    Sterling -> Wijnaldum

    Think I'll be benching Payet too, so I recommend everyone play him.

    Looking for a two week punt before the WC ;
    Williams/Dawson for Kompany or
    Siggy for Alli/Arnie/Ozil or
    Lukaku for Vardy

    Any thoughts? Swaying towards Williams as have no swans coverage.

    Dawson

    Was just thinking of him now also . Going to be a tough decision

    As i am going to wildcard in 33 I'm tempted to take a punt but would it be madness to sell Silva or Ozil for a couple weeks? Was lookong at Georgie W. as the two week punt.

    No value tied up on either player.

    Just done Kompany and Arnie to Dawson and Siggy.

    Now who to bench from....

    Ozil (eve) Alli (BOU) Mahrez (pal) Silva (MAN) Vardy (pal) Siggy (AVL)

    Leaning towards Ozil or Vardy.

    Going on form it would be Silva. I got him last week and regret it now.

    I was initially benching Vardy this week but Alli starting yesterday made me switch. Silva is safest choice to bench though and isn't at 100%

    No transfer this week. Save for 32.

    Probably going to do Fonte to Williams myself.....surely a guaranteed CS against the clinically dead Villa??

    Anyone tempted by Berahino, Norwich at home then Sunderland away. Strongly thinking of going with him.

    Between him and Wijnaldum for a one or two week punt is tempting me also. Rondon has been getting goals but has an improbably high conversion rate. Berahino v Norwich especially could do serious damage and still has pens I'd assume.

    Silva to Firmino done a few days ago, was hoping to avoid hits for the rest of the season but need to get Kompany out so a -4 to get Alder back in!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,817 ✭✭✭✭siblers

    I'd replace him with Vardy but if Vardy scores and Berahino blanks, it'll be a disaster but the other way round and it's a huge differential. Anytime I considered Wijnaldum he blanked so I'm reluctant to bring him in, Fer for Swansea is another option but that might be too risky, possibly Barrow but not guaranteed to start and an injury doubt. Berahino seems the safest gamble for me to take.

    Butland--Hennessy

    Toby--Williams--Fonte--Huth--Smith

    Ozil--Toure--Mahrez--Siggy--Alli

    Kane--Vardy--Aguero

    I have 2 FTs and £1m in the bank. Can anyone see a transfer that would be worth doing? Was thinking Toure->Firmino/Payet but United are piss so think Toure might not be a bad keep.

    Team looks good. Maybe Hennessey out for Elliot?
