Craig Gardner for 5.1m could work for a short term punt perhaps. Norwich at home this week, then Sunderland away. Takes a good share of set pieces and has a good shot on him too.

    Olsson for Bertrand.

Waiting for fixture announcements before deciding anything, but hoping to get some DGWers in with 2 FTs. Vardy and Eriksen are two I'm considering for the chop.

    Team at the moment

    Schmeichel
    Francis Damn Alderweireld (Subs Koscielny/Johnson)
    Shaqiri Silva Alli Mahrez Siggy
    Augero Kane (Vardy)

Taughts on transfers? Still have WC to play and triple captain bench boost but waiting like everyone for a DW.

Do i go Vardy to Lukaku this GW?
Also want to get rid of Koscielny/Johnson and have 5.7 mill to spend. Taughts on long term replacements?

Haven't blasted points on transfers, but seem to have amassed stars all over the place (admittedly Arnautovic in for Wijnaldum this week).
    Hasn't helped my scoring though.

My question for GW31; Time for the Bench Boost?

Finding it hard to see a good 1 week punt.

    Fuchs, Williams, Alderweireld
    Mahrez, Sanchez, Alli, Arnie, Siggy
    Vardy, Agüero, Kane

Probably bench Arnie away to Watford or Vardy.

No midfielder standing out as a punt for maybe Arnie.

Bank and maybe get a couple of Chelsea in for Villa (after seeing who plays up front with no Costa)?

    Arnie -> Wijnaldum

Not happy with defence this week

    Bellerin VVV Daniels Wolly Fuchs

Already have Forster so thinking VVD to either Kompany/Dawson/Williams/Alder. Still have wildcard so will probably be a 2 week punt. Dawson probably has the best fixtures.

For a 2 week punt Id consider Janmaat. Home to Sunderland then away to Norwich Has a lot of attacking potential, also if its a success you could hold him for DGW. Think Rafa will shore them up at the back also, only lost to a fantastic goal last night.

    Yaya to Siggy

    or

    Vardy to Lukaku

Ideally Id like to do both, but dont really want to be taking yet another hit. I fancy Lukaku to hurt Arsenals awful defense, but I think Vardys pace could hurt Palace. That said, he isn't scorng much lately.

Siggy is a good captain Vs Villa and I do not want 3 x man City players Vs Man Utd.

Goodbye Ozil. But for who? first time all season ill have no arsenal players? But for who. bring in a lesser mf and bump up vardy to lukaku perhaps

Good shout thanks. The sensible side of me wants to go for someone fairly reliable like Dawson as Janmaat is so unpredictable. But with the Rafa factor, it's definitely tempting and could be nice differential if it works.

Leicester only had one shot at goal against Newcastle so the Benitez factor has already seemed to come into effect, on the other side, the game against Sunderland will be incredibly tense and discipline tends to go out the window in such games, Sunderland seem to have goals in them everytime they play and could see them scoring, i'm still very tempted to try Janmaat though.

I'm also tempted with Berahino, blanked his last 2 games but against weaker teams he always looks dangerous. Not sure what striker i'd drop though, possibly Vardy but if it backfires, could be disastrous due to Vardy's high ownership.

A short term punt on a Sunderland player might be an option

Who would get from their team tho? Khazari? Is he injured ? Anyone else worth a 2 week punt before my gw33 wildcard?

Do you have Wijnaldum? SUN then nor, pretty good fixtures and he has proven himself in patches this season.

Was going to get Hart in for Forster until I WC in 33, but now leaning towards Fabianski, or possibly Foster (WBA) after Kompany's injury.

Fabianski probably, as have no Swans cover defensively and they seem to have tightened up a bit.

Who is nailed on to start for Man City in place of Kompany?

Kompany gone forces me to use the wildcard now I think

Lukaku or Vardy this week lads?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,858 ✭✭✭LostArt

Lukaku, despite palace being **** I have a feeling they'll frustrate Leicester and Arsenal can't defend.

I'm going to have to replace Kompany now :(

2 week punt on a defender but which one?

    Current defence is

    Forster

    Fuchs Williams Kompany Daniels Toby

    +1

Only recently got Ozil back so it's either him or Silva to gp with Vardy on the bench. 352 played.

Gw33 WC so i have a couple of losse transfers if needed.

    Butland Hennessey
    Daniels Alderweireld Simpson Bellerin Bertrand
    Mahrez Ozil Alli Sigurdsson Payet
    Aguero Kane Vardy

I have 2 FTs and my wildcard so preparing for DGW isn't essential. I kinda want to do a transfer so I won't have "wasted" it. I'm thinking of just doing a goalkeeper or defender transfer.

My back three for this week at the moment are: Alderweireld Simpson Daniels.
I'm unsure who to bench in midfield. So I thought this might be the week to do AOA?

I could replace Bertrand with Williams and play Williams and Alderweireld this week.
I coud also get Fabianski in for Hennessey and bench Butland.
