Installed a connects 2 Aux cable in my Golf over the weekend. About €40 including shipping, well worth it.

It was my first real job on the car so quite happy with it. I was quite worried about dismantling the dash originally but bit the bullet.

Got this today nice little set you can't really go wrong with Teng they will take serious abuse. So considering I won't be dogging it, they should last for a very long time.

Much did that all set you back kiiiiidddd?

That estate should come up pretty well to be fair even with a wash. If the suspension is sound then you're gravy.:D

About 400 quid, yeah it'll come up very well, only thing that won't really is a bit of a dent and scuff in the passenger side door.

Airbags all rose perfect and stayed level once the battery was gone in so all good so far!

Why not replace them with steel ones ? Plastic ones won't last 19 years.

Oil and Filter for the 525i's gearbox, will hopefully either solve my slight jerkyness or tell me my gearbox is fecked alltogether :D

For the Caldina, whatevers in it started to slip the other day under hard acceleration, also a few shocks & suspension bits.

Clutch change is an engine & gearbox out job so I might get a few other bits done too, need to be quick about it though - doing a dyno run in 3 weeks!

Also got a rocker cover gasket & service parts for the 190e, back to being poor again - where I belong :D

Are self levelling upper and lower control arms different to the conventional setup?
