The one negative of having a unique car like that is you can never sneak around anywhere. I remember seeing it at the pitch & putt course too.

Yeah, under no illusions itd go unnoticed :D

as we're posting old cars, i don't have as single picture of my first car that i can find, a 98 mustang i bought in 2001 while living in california after college, loved that thing, but a love for scuba diving and snowboarding saw it replaced with this, a Ford Expediction, 5.4L V8 eddie Bauer edition. thing was a monster, 12mpg but would carry 8 lads and snowboards through blizzards and feet of fresh snow. only sold when i moved back to ireland. loved this thing

Reminds me of the story of a fella who parked his car in Dublin who returned to it to find some scrote had just scratched the side of his car with a key, when he spotted said individual he then ran his own key along the other side of the car and told your man "that's what it's like to have money, something you will never have" :D

So this happened during the summer when a fella swerved to avoid a cat and hit the SLK. He was sound about it and admitted liability.

Then this happened two years too soon but I couldn't resist!!!

I'll leave it off the road until next summer... it's frightening once the revs rise but the noise is something else.
    Roll on summer 2019!!!

    A 07 Toyota Avensis d4dee.

I'm saving the last few k towards a Golf R in the spring. Could have one on pcp by now but I don't want more than a 10k loan so I'm slumming it to save.

They are a great car that anyone who likes sports cars should try and get a drive in. Mine was a 07 HR with only 35000 miles on it. Best thing about them is the directness and weight of all the driver controls. Steering/pedals/gearbox etc. Worst thing was weight (They weigh as much as a 530d) and crap Bose headunit.

I got rid of it as I'm 6"2 and 20 stone and found it a pain in the ass to live with daily being so low/doors are huge so it's easy to get stuck.

Picked this up for peanuts as a stop-gap a few months ago... but finding it hard to justify changing it yet.

It's a 2003 520i ES SE, which are a pretty strange mish-mash of SE and M-sport bits... sport suspension, sports seats in cloth, sport MFSW, and split rim alloys.

Interesting is right. The cloth has aged pretty well unlike most alcantaras these days. Even the bolsters are in good nick!
