    This is a bit silly but I was running around taking lots of photos for Google Maps. I added them all to the various places online a few weeks back. However I just checked now and they're all gone!!!

    I did delete the photos from my phone and Picasaweb so maybe I did the damage myself? I would have thought they would have been uploaded to Google's own servers when I added them.

    Deleting them from Picasaweb would do it. (Wasnt that renamed?)


    Google Apps for Education = Unlimited Storage (for life if the institution doesn't delete accounts, they dont pay per seat).

    Google is changing the rewards for Level 4 soon, see below:
    We are changing the Drive storage benefit for Level 4 from 1 TB to 100 GB, so that we can continue giving Drive storage to all Level 4 qualified Local Guides. Existing Local Guides who were signed up before July 7, 2016 (12am GMT) can still unlock the original 1 TB offer if they reach Level 4 by July 21, 2016 (12am GMT).

    It's true, it needs plenty of effort - especially for Ireland where gmaps include a fairly good amount of detail! First time I checked my points balance was when this offer came up - I had about 60 points :eek:! I edit Waze maps too (so I'm around maps often overall) but it took me about 3 months..

    If you get cracking, you can probably climb up to L4 in 3-5 weeks.

    The files would still be in your Drive and you would still be able to access them.

    Once the current storage that you have expires, you will be back to 15 GB free storage.

    The only issue that you will have is when your usage is more than your available storage or quota, you won't be able to upload anything in your Drive also you won't be able to receive incoming emails as you no longer have enough storage space.
