Two of the big names from EastEnders history will be among Ryan Tubridy's guests on The Late Late Show on Friday night on RTÉ One.

Spandau Ballet bassist and onetime Dublin resident Martin Kemp, who played Steve Owen in EastEnders, will be discussing his music career and years on the BBC soap.
Michelle Collins, who played Cindy Beale in EastEnders and Stella Price in Coronation Street, will talk about her experiences as one of the few actors to make the journey from Walford to Weatherfield.
Comedian Jason Manford will share his Irish family history - the Mancunian's great-grandfather fought in the GPO during the Easter Rising.

Following the passing of Terry Wogan on Sunday, comedian Phil Jupitus will share his memorable encounter with the Irish TV legend and make the case for bringing back panel show Never Mind the Buzzcocks.

With Room to Improve back on RTÉ One on Sunday night, architect Dermot Bannon will outline why he feels the political response to the housing crisis won't work, and why modular housing isn't the answer.
Jimmy Norman, the founder of children's cancer charity Aoibheann's Pink Tie, will discuss the loss of his daughter to the disease and his work in helping other families.

Transgender rights will be discussed with Chris Ricketts, who began life as a female and gave birth to two children but who has always felt male, while best-selling food writer Ella Woodward will explain how a change in her diet led to her career going from strength to strength.

Music on the night comes from Gavin Glass and Bagatelle.

Why am I even gonna watch this?

Bloody Nora that's a bad line up.

If only the best thing ever was on BBC4 at 10 o'clock, then Friday night would be saved!

This much is TRUE...I DON'T NEED THIS PRESSURE ON to start a LLS thread tonight. ONLY WHEN YOU LEAVE the internet, will you realise it was comedy GOLD as usual. But TO CUT A LONG STORY SHORT, let's get it on...

I'm not sure I have the energy for all that lot!

Should be a hoot, not! A good old Irish connection isn't good enough for the guests any more. They have to have an Irish relation who was present at the GPO during the rising now.

No proper Late Late show tribute for Terry Wogan on tonight's show, an utter disgrace!!!

He never really fitted in at RTE. Too much talent and he was never one for cronyism.

Didn't even realise that Never Mind The Buzzcocks had been axed. It had gone so downhill after Simon Amstell left.

Never liked NMTB - smacked of snobbish music elitism.

The 'identity parade' has humiliating, not in a good way.

Jupitus phoned it in for the last 15 years anyway!

    Sadly I have to agree.

    Why would they?

It'd only remind them of the standards they would like to achieve to...:(

Feeling more than a little sick here, after listening to that lecture on human kindness from Peter Sutherland. I tell you what Peter, I'll take as many Syrians in to my house as you take in to your mansion. Now F**K off.

    /rant.

Evening all, I'm in good humour tonight.

Is there any other TV show in the World which has so many features about dead children?

Totally. What a weird show it was. Should have been brilliant, but I always came away from it thinking these guys are kinda d*cks.

"I'm not talking about politics cos my team arent winning at the moment."

A bit like my approach to discussing the fortunes (or otherwise) of Liverpool Football Club.

Jaysis, Dermot Bannon on again. He's always on these shows. What else has he got left to say.
