    I seen a diesel Ford F150 in Galway last year. Brand new at the time. It was massive in the flesh.

    I was visiting Texas back in January and got a lift in an F350 Super Duty. Now that's a big truck, you could put an F150 is the back of it and still have room for a bale of hay. Big double rear axle V8 diesel with enough torque to pull a building, now that would give the diesel haters over here something proper to moan about.

    Looking at the pictures of the cars available for sale up north makes me wonder would those looking for a border poll/ United Ireland be happy to pay our vrt and vat on them.
    You do definitely see more high end cars in the north than the south as they are more affordable.

    Motor tax is also a factor. It kills the used value of big engined cars down here.
