It’s not supposed to be something like the cannonball run really, it’s just a holiday package.

"Great idea, what shall we call it?"

    "The Cannon"

I got to Rosses Point to collect someone just before the cars arrived. Some lovely machinery in fairness. I'll put up a few pics later.

Just so you know, all these rallies are 'holiday packages'. They are all inclusive. Gumball, Bull Run, Goldrush include everything you need except drinks outside of breakfast, lunch and dinner, and costs of the car.

The only difference is the price point. Bullrun was 25kUSD per car (Driver and Nav) when it was running. In earlier years it was up to 50kUSD. Gumball is similar.

    OMG that V60!!

The second Volvo compete with the RS6 or E63 Wagon, like they made the 850R and Polestar's, I'd be all over it.

The good old time with 5 cylinder turbos is gone...
Had an 850 T-5R, V70R and V70R AWD moved then to a different brand when they introduced the 4 cylinder engines.

Might consider them when they bring the T8 engines to the smaller non-SUV cars.

Saw this Tesla Model S charging in Boyle a couple of days ago.

    [IMG][/img]rjnt46.jpg

Also saw an M5 in Carrick on Shannon, 181 L M5 styled reg. Was wondering if the owner had got a Leitrim reg on purpose (not an everyday occurrence I'd imagine :D) but I was talking to a friend about it and she said she's seen in in supervalu in Carrick so it appears to be local. Must try and get a photo of it the next time I see it.
