Phoenix Yellow M4 in Dublin 15

A very marmite colour. Doesn't look great on an E46, but really suits the M4 IMO

I don't really like it tbh. Wheels are too bling and the blue headlights look silly IMO. Has a far, far nicer Torino also.

Passed a Focus RS in blue in Cork yesterday on a 161 D plate was going the opposite direction so couldnt snap a picture.

Love the colour more than I assumed I would.

Typical of the Ford Ireland hierarchy from my experience. Sort themselves out first, customers later

Tbh if I was part of the hierarchy in Ford Ireland I'd be pretty disappointed with a Focus.

    Ford GT instead? :P

    Ford GT instead? :P

Well at least a full fat 'Stang or Mondeo Vignale.

  • Registered Users Posts: 7,106 ✭✭✭dar83

Id rather the RS than a full fat 'stang, but I get where you're coming from ;)

  • Registered Users Posts: 5,746 ✭✭✭el diablo

    Or a Lincoln Continental.

    We're all in this psy-op together.🤨

Ford are having some sort of showcase in Mondello soon that the old man was invited to, wonder is it to demo the RS, Mustang etc.

It's all about driving safely, and is showcasing the safety features fitted to Focus, Mondeo AWD, S-Max AWD, Galaxy AWD, Vignail and Mustang's.

I'm sure the presence of high powered Ford's will be purely to show has safe they are.....:pac:

That RS looks gorgeous ... meanwhile, here is an ST I saw earlier. The picture doesnt do it any justice... its a gorgeous looking wagon IRL... red calipers all around (not in shot) and the exhaust is quite pretty :D

  • Registered Users Posts: 3,381 ✭✭✭vintagevrs

I still don't like the way the new ST comes in diesel. They should differentiate it, it's a fine car in diesel form in its own right, bit it's not an ST. STD maybe won't work :) but I'm sure their marketing dept can come up with something.

Just checked and it's 177 bhp. No harm but that is not deserving in 2016 to be an ST. Sure a 320d had the same output 9 years ago, may have ate a chain or two but still.

Nice!! I assume those are from top marques? A few of those cars were filmed on a run up the mountains by a few YouTube vloggers Mr JWW and Seen Through Glass, worth checking out the video. One of them has an F12 with an IPE exhaust that sounds mental. I think that blue McLaren 675LT is owned by one of them too

Yes they are from Top Marques and I saw photos of the mountaiin trip of some of those cars. However I had no car to go with them and had to stay in the city and wait when they back... Blue McLaren belong to Shmee150 one of the famous YouTubers. I'm happy that only cars I missed were Pagani Huayra (I didn't even see that car driving there) and Ferrari F40 which was too far to take some good shots. I saw rest of all those cars which were driving there those days. Even saw Ferrari F12 TDF but not the best photos :(

Some nice photos there Marcinek! What kind of camera equipment do you use?

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,525 ✭✭✭ION08

Great photo's and all but to play the devil's advocate here, I think this thread should be reserved for cars spotted in Ireland.

I mean of course Monaco is gonna be filled with lovely motors, especially around Gumball time but I can easily just google these type of photo's and be hit with thousands of results.

I already know what a McLaren , Bugattis and Ferraris look like, and if I wanted a reminder of what they look like against a scenic backdrop in Monaco that's the polar opposite of Ireland, I could easily resort to Google. S

Whereas snapping a pic of one driving down Baggot Street from your mobile phone has a whole different element of "wow" and novelty about it and I think this better captures the sprit of this thread

Sorry, just wanted to get that off my chest :o

I think we are lucky that Marcinek takes the time to share these photos that he takes. They are super quality, never mind the subject of the photo. I get what you are saying about Google images but he is contributing to the thread, not making it any worse. I'm all for it.
