Next traffic FR4001 gone around too. FR1344 up again. 16:30 METAR giving 210 degrees 13kts, but the approach over the volcano's is notoriously bumby and turbulent.

FR1344 on the ground on second attempt.

Anyone know why EI511 Perpignan - Dublin is delayed? Supposed to arrive around 19:00, the delayed till 20:15 and now 00:05 :(.
It's my sisters flight and she's stuck there with 2 young kids plus a newborn.

EDIT: just heard from her, the incoming flight diverted to Toulouse so they are being bussed up to meet th plane

Why did this flight from Manchester to Knock take this route over Castlebar and Kiltimagh prior to landing?

The actual landing seems to be missing, due to lack of signal.

Easterly wind, aircraft landing on RWY08 today. Also appeared to do 1 loop of a hold.

Flybe aircraft have horrific coverage on FR24.

Edit: Was unaware of Runway change.

that would be runway 08. 09 no longer exists

Anyone know what that fight that just left Dublin is?

G-RRED is the registration, but no other info.

Looks like it took off from the Liffey!

Noisy thing, I heard it from my house and thought it was over head, but if that track is right it never came (very) near me......

    DAAA1??

The DAA designation usually refers to a Dublin Airport Authority ground vehicle. This can range from maintanence to emergency services vehicles and can be see throughout the day and especially at night if maintanence operations are been carried out.

Without anyone needing to be a a smartarse about it..... A better way to phrase your post is to say"What is DAAR1?"

If I just post something like "EI-LBR?". Its very vague, and realistically I could be asking a million things.

Anyway, EI-LBR has been training the past few mornings at SNN. Going around and around :)

This was sent to me, thought some might find it interesting...

What's special about the Shanwick Tango routes?

When the French Controllers go on strike, which is often, the airspace surrounding France becomes of high interest to international operators, especially the North-South routes within Shanwick s airspace.

There are three very useful routes if you happen to be flying North-South. With the changes in February this year from MNPS to HLA, the normal confusion over what is required to operate on T9, T16, and T213 ( The Three Sisters ), has increased further. Let s try to get all the specifics in a row.

    Tango 9 LASNO-BEGAS
The most popular of the three often chock full of holiday traffic between Northern Europe and the Canaries. Requirements:
    HF Radio. One is sufficient.
An Oceanic Clearance. Get it from Shanwick at least 30 minutes before you arrive at the boundary, 60 minutes is the best target time.
At least one LRNS/Long Range Nav System
HLA Approval if you want to fly above FL285.

    Tango 213 TAMEL-BERUX
    HF Radio. One is sufficient.
An Oceanic Clearance. Get it from Shanwick at least 30 minutes before you arrive at the boundary, 60 minutes is the best target time.
    Two LRNS/Long Range Nav Systems
HLA Approval if you want to fly above FL285.

    Tango 16 OMOKO-NAVIX
    HF Radio. One is sufficient.
An Oceanic Clearance. Get it from Shanwick at least 30 minutes before you arrive at the boundary, 60 minutes is the best target time, or Santa Maria if you re going north.
    Two LRNS/Long Range Nav Systems
HLA Approval if you want to fly above FL285.
