According to Satelliweb, the Donegal v Monaghan game is on 0.8°W sadly. I can get a few channels, but not a peep on this.

Nothing here. Not even the reported encrypted one which I presume is the Cork Dublin game on Sky. 0.8w for me has been a problem for some time.

I don't know why. I can only presume that it is an obstacle I am not aware of. Sky News booms in.

Glad it's not just me then. Maybe low power? Curious SR used, but I guess that's normal for feeds.

There were more indepth tuning parameters on feedhunter.net, but it made no odds.

I was at the game in Cavan. There was just one RTE truck and a Digisat uplink van with a big dish, which is much less than the usual contingent for a live game.

    http://www.digisat.ie/

I never experienced a GAA feed on 1 West which was too weak, but that one must have been.

I am going to the Cavan Tyrone game in Clones tomorrow. It is not listed for live broadcast either, but full deferred coverage at 6.30 pm on BBC 2 NI. The deal between RTE and Ulster GAA means that the BBC can only broadcast games live which are also live on RTE.

This one is Croke Park Dirty.

    Also 11502 V 14250 is IRL017 RTE GAA KERRY T DIGISAT.

The 11626 one is labelled Croke Park although the game is in Killarney.

There is also another one on 23.5 11515 V 7120 DVB-S2. Its labelled IRL017 RTE GAA KERRY TIPP CLEAN.

How do you get the symbol rate 7120?

What do you mean ? How do you change it or how did I find it ?

By the way 11626 labelled as Croke Park is the main RTE output as they are anchoring there. Blonde moment.

Im trying to scan for this on my box. But symbol rate needs to be 5 numbers. Im trying on a vu with openvix on it. Probably the wrong set up is it?

Go to service searching menu, signal finder and change to user defined tp and enter the digits and then press ok. That 7120 one is no longer of use as was a clean feed from Killarney for the Kerry Tipp game, its just a testcard now.

For the symbol rate put a 0 in front of the four digit number, worked for me with the Donegal v Monaghan game last night which boomed through in my Triax 110 in Full HD last night. Only experienced some break up in second half when the weather turned for 5 minutes but when it stopped raining it was fine again.

Anything for Cavan v Tyrone yet today?

Enter it as 07120 as I stated above.

  • Registered Users Posts: 5,380 ✭✭✭STB.

There is also another one at 11638 V 7120 DVB-S2 labelled Croke Park Clean.

So now you have the two feeds for Croke Park.

    Hi,
I've an AZ Box Premium tuned pointing at 23.5.

I've added each of the freq above but I can not get any quality reading.

Is there anything special I need to pick up a feed signal on AZ Box ?

    Cheers

If you are using Enigma 2 it is DVB-S2 , 3/4, 8PSK, Pilot ON. From memory if you are using the original firmware you can field through those parameters.

    71% signal with me, 1.1 m dish.

Game is live on RTE 1.

    On satellitweb ? :)

    Not Coded.

It is of course, but I have mine set to auto, so I never enter those parameters

The clean feed without the graphics, is on 23.5E 11510 V 7120 DVB-S2, called Thurles Clean. This feed wont include the RTE studio analysis.

Also another feed on 23.5E 11500 V 7120 DVB-S2 - called Thurles High Behind which is not broadcast but used for crowd shots and alternative head on replays.
