    What's the laws in regard to been owed something from the shop I purchased a dos and handed it back and of course I didn't know it was closing when I went back the stock was gone ,do I need to get a solicitor or contact cusumner advice ,sorry if this is the wrong place to ask

    You will join a long list of debtors and near the bottom of that list.
    You would need to contact the provisional liquidator (Grant thornton) and register the debt with them. You will need to prove that you are owed this.
    It is unlikely you will see a cent and is not worth the effort IMO.

    The owe preferred creditors a way lot more than their assets, so there won't be a cent for unsecured creditors .

    Not worth wasting your time. - Even if you were owed €100,000, you still would not see a cent.
