On a seperate note, when I was a kid I loved a programme called Voltron, over the years I asked a few people if they could remember it and basically they all thought I was nuts. Netflix have released a new version of it and I'm glued to it at the moment. I know a few of you lads surely remember that from years ago tho or are any of yis watching it now? :P

See, I would have been happier holding off to try that Batman game if its 11 quid now, I stupidly payed full whack for it...

I loved the old Voltron back in the 80s, had loads of the figures that all turned into the big one, what's this new one?

Is it for kids or for bigger kids like me? :P

Edit : there is a control setting somewhere for the tank in Batman that "fixes" it Jonny, have a look, can't remember how they refer to it

    Dubrovnik was always cool ;)

Game Of Thrones is everywhere in your face there, prices skyrocket in the old town. Must admit to taking my first touristy tour on this trip and did a Thrones walking tour around the town. I treated myself to the most expensive 'house Stark' mug I have ever purchased in my life. It will never be used for fear of breakage.

Well that's exactly my point, 3 years ago there was NO game of Thrones stuff around, at all, the weren't using it as a tourist driver

We're in Pula, Mediterranean side. Was an old Italian town, which they where forced to hand over after the war. Some fantastic architecture and there's an old coliseum too. Really makes you want to go see the big daddy in Rome.

Expense wise, certain things aren't much different from home, other things, like entry to the coliseum, work out at around 12 quid for 2 adults with the kids going free. Taxis from hotel to Pula itself aren't that bad either.

Give it 10 years and they'll be back to purely marketing the town on the old town's history. I couldn't get over the amount of people who pass through the old town on a daily basis. Massive cruise ships dock for one day and unload several thousand tourists for about 5 hours; on my last full day there, ~10/12'000 people were there!!:eek:

Myself and my mates stayed in a fancy villa in the town of Zaton, about 15km from Dubrovnik. When we heard from the locals what the busy days were, we just steered clear of town altogether. Food and drink was 2/3'rds cheaper when we bought in supermarkets there, rather than the old town.

I still haven't seen a full episode of Game of Thrones :pac: Only about half way into the first book as well.

Oireachtas Report is a far better tv show IMO. Just as many plot twists, as much drama, and the bad guys win. They have a decent budget too, but always manage to blow it!

Ah ya but I personally can't stomach the sex scenes from the Oireachtas Report.

Fucker got like 3 Play of the Game tonight as a bloody healer when it's hard enough to get one as a DPS

Are there many people from the clan playing Overwatch? I was thinking of getting it.

It was only 2 Plays of the Game, but still, I was proper shouting the place down

Given that the only slightly exciting thing you get to do as the Healer

There's 19 players in the boards group chat I'm in and that's about 50%+ Destiny Clan players

For those who originally downloaded and subsequently deleted P.T., there's a link below with instructions on how to get it back. This worked for me last night, how Sony and PSN feel about this I do not know but at least the choice is yours.

    Any decent deals going?

I usually buy from videogamesplus.ca but I'm impatient these days :pac:

If I see it on sale somewhere soon I might pick it up myself - can't afford full price gaming at the moment.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,870 ✭✭✭✭Generic Dreadhead

It's good value on Amazon.co.uk at £43 (~€55 posted) given you can always resell it for ~€45 on Adverts if you don't like it, that's what I did, but if the Boards/Destiny crowd stay active on it, I can see myself putting hours into it (maybe not no-lifing it), seems like a great game to have the option of picking up and playing for 90 minutes here and there

After the whole Mick Wallace, Ming Flannagan, Joan triangle - I just tuned out. I couldn't keep up with the pace.
