    Is C&H optical in receivership or something? I've been waiting for 3 weeks for a new pair of eyeglasses, every time I phone it's another excuse and we'll call you back.

    I've called 4 times in that period. They've yet to call me back.

    The weird thing is, I dropped off the prescription (a slight mod to the one they had on file), and they didn't take a deposit. I offered, no, we'll call you back with the amount. Never did, claimed the order is coming every time I call.

    Latest story is they might have them Saturday. I actually intend on going their and hopefully holding their feet to the fire some, because I have travel out of Ireland mid next week and an up-to-date pair of eyeglasses would be handy.

    I doubt they are, they are part of CH Chemist. Maybe short staffed in there? I've never had an issue with them. I am due an eye test in a couple of months & they told me to book it in advance as they are so busy!
