If its already gone through, strange they are not shouting from the rooftops because so many people still boycotting it

Are they though? Place is mobbed by all accounts, now I have only attempted to go there once in past year and I couldn't even get a parking space! Went to Ballygarry instead for lunch, good decision in hindsight as had no kids with me. Ballyseedy play area is great if you have kids with you. I'm not sure it is suffering at all!

Im sure at the weekends its busy, but so many active age groups/retired who use to go there for tea and scone during the weekdays are going elsewhere

I've been there on random weekdays and its bustling enough then too.

I think they made gains too during the week from the closing of Yummy as it was geared very well for kids back then with play area.

Not heard a thing about it being sold to anyone. Might just be a rumour as the family home is being sold.

I've only been there a few times in the last year and its still busy enough. The kids play areas have all been upgraded and look great. I love Meadows & Byrne, but they are so expensive that I rarely buy anything unless its a sale! The price of their furniture etc is mad!

That rumour about a Hardware/builder family buying it has been doing the rounds with months.

Boyle bought it. Makes sense to move to a ready built location. They had been looking at building a new shop/garden centre on the corner of the clash road similar to their shop in killorglin.

Isn't there supposed to be a new retail park behind Adams Hyundai/Ford dealerships just as you leave the town as well? I thought something got permission there.

Is it confirmed that Boyles bought it?

Are you sure you're not thinking of the land to the rear of TKMaxx/Harvey Norman etc? There's planning in for that area. I can see no mention on the KerryCoCo planning map anywhere near Adams
