What was the point of his 'Bucharest" story? What went wrong or was scary in his apartment?

He amused me at first but is starting to bore me now?

If he broke into something serious, I wouldn't be sure whether to laugh or not. He'd probably get cross.

It's the nervous laugh of the audience that I find really weird.

    Here's the real misery

"is there anything on the late late tonight"

Yeah there's an item on depression, that'll cheer you up. :D

Isn't it dark for most of the night?

What if there's a full moon? Y'know, like a real bright one?

"Anything on the Late Late Show tonight?"
    "No?"

Does he not realise that he's just diagnosed the whole country as being depressed every week?

Can RTE not go a week without a depression segment.

Is he? He just seems to be rambling on. I suppose he's 'known' for this.

Reminds me of Blades of Glory.

"Night time is a very dark time for me."

"Night time's dark for everyone, you douche!"

I think that song has become a gay anthem.

This is sad but I can remember almost exactly ten years ago Pat Kenny had a 1916 debate between Tim Pat Coogan and some unionist guy and a few people in the audience. Pat was in his element obviously but it was one of the best things I recall from his tenure on the Late Late. Interesting to see how Tubridy will handle it; doubt he'll be involving the cardboard cutout audience somehow.
