Very lucky to still be in the cup. Our squad is not as good as people think, badly need to sign a back up striker this month because Son is not a striker.

Son was the best player on the pitch. Scored a cracker and made the other

Poch has said that Chadli and Son, plus Clinton can play up top as well as Kane...
Both scored when Kane was off the pitch...
Its not a necessity we get an out an out striker....
We have our best ever goal difference and Kane has only got 12 or so...
we are spreading the goals out amongst the team.

Sure Arsenal only have Giroud as an out an out striker.
City only have Bony and Aguero.
    Leicester have Vardy.
Utd have Rooney and Martial....both not scoring..

I think liverpool have 4 strikers..Ings, Origi, Sturridge and Benteke...
and they're not exactly a success, even before their injuries.

Personally i'd love Berahino or Long...
Sandro and Yan Wedder or whatevr his name is.....meh..
    dont know them.

But the futures bright....ITS FACKING LILYWHITE!!!

Long would be ideal. He is used to playing second fiddle. Its backup we need not another expensive striker who thinks he should play every week

Was good win, with a mostly 2nd string team. Wimmer and Dier were decent at CB, and it was good to give both Verts and Alderweireld a rest. Nice for Bentaleb to get 90 mins as well. Son was excellent as well, which is very important for us. He's our only real backup for Kane at the moment.

I didn't think Davies did anything wrong. Was caught out by Dyer that time, and took the yellow card to stop him, but was grand other then that. Put a few decent crosses in...which is more then i can say for anyone else. By god our crossing is awful. Eriksen needs to stop taking corners and Walker should just run it rather then attempting another poor cross.

Either way, most of the important players got a rest, we won comfortably, and are through to the next round. Happy days.

Even Vorm made a few goods saves last night.

    As accurate as Eriksens corners?

Or as accurate as Eric Bristow on double 16...(for the older lads on here)!!!

Great to reach the next round of the cup,I didn't think we would win at their place last night but glad we got a win against them at last and well deserved also.Son was excellent and back in form hopefully, impressed with Vorm also.
