Mauricio on TEAM NEWS: "@RyanMason and @mousadembele are very close but still out for Sunday." #COYS

Great news, was worried Mousa would be out for a while.

Once he's back for the league I'll be happy

Absolutely, even if fit he should be rested this Sunday. Hopefully Harry and Toby will get a rest too, but I wouldn't bank on it.

Rest most of de first team hopefully.

Maybe start Son up front, chadli on the left.
Don't think he'll put out a particularly "weak" team though

Unfortunately I don't think Harry will be rested, but definitely time to give some of the squad players a chance to prove themselves.

Maybe a line up like follows:

    Vorm
    Trippier
    Wimmer
    Jan
    Rose
    Bentaleb
    Carroll
    Son
    Chadli
    Townsend
    Kane

I feel the exact same way now. 12 months ago I was suggesting we sell him to the highest bidder. It's mad the difference a year and a bit of confidence makes.

We all get stuff wrong in football at some point. I've always been a massive Dembele fan (see the Dembele thread) but I've got things wrong aswell.

Never liked Walker post Aston Villa loan to be honest but this season I'm starting to warm to him.

Dembele has the quality and brain of a world class player but I reckon his mentality is terrible. I pay just as much credit to Poch as Dembele himself. Look at what Poch has done to a bunch of players who looked good on paper but previously never quite showed the quality they possess.

Lamela, Vertonghen, Walker, Rose, Dembele and now Dier.

All of which everyone at some point here lambasted. Now look...

We need more Argentines. For some reason they always step up at Tottingham.

Think onomah will be in before townsend. Vorm might have to wait a while more after his last game out against Leicester.

Interesting to see Poch appears to be taking the Europa League a but more seriously than the FA Cup.

I guess the fact we play Leicester on Wednesday may have influenced is team selection.
