Oh Christ another Pat Shortt interview, what could he possibly add that hasnt been said in the previous 15 interviews?

    Good old Ray.

Even in the pre show sting for his own show he seems disinterested.

I will be going to bed after the Ray Darcy show, I just hope I last that long.

    Evening all.

Grey D'Arcy is probably the only person who doesn't make a New Year's Resolution - as eating porridge, running, abstaining from alcohol and being in bed before 11pm is the norm for him.

Evening all and Happy New Year.

    Pat Shortt, Ah come on.

The band finishing the show, Rackhouse Pilfer, are very good. I've been going to see them since they were a two piece. If you don't like bluegrass/country they mightn't be for you but a fine body of musicians, none theless. Tom Jones picked them to back him on his last single.

"First we're gonna talk to people in the audience about new year resolutions. Or what things they are resolving to do, so that's the way that you say it."

grrrrrrr. Ray obviously hasnt resolved himself to be a pedantic, petty, fussy little f**ker for the new year then.

It reminds me when I got my first copy of Cubase (music editing software). I had strings and choirs on everything from my rendition of Twinkle, Twinkle Littl e Star to My Way.

Wonder if he'll do any press ups. The lady at the end is wearing pants, so he might challenge her.

He has a look of total confusion to every answer they give to his questions, they may have to start drawing him pictures to explain to him

It's usually a lot worse than this. Ask Pamela Anderson.

This isn't too bad actually. He interviewed Pamela Anderson a few weeks ago and it was torture. She was dead on but he was woeful.

I came across this on one of the many long days over the Christmas, when I was looking up about Brian Clough. Here's what Brian thinks of Alan Sugar.

He had a few on board as you probably notice, he was a raging alco at that point in his career.

Interestingly it seems that our guest was right about Cailín being masculine.
