Well the show ends at 12:15am January 1st 2016 so they dont want us staying up too long that is for sure.

Well, I don't think it can be denied that Jess Glynne is good-looking and good-sounding.

But I still think I'd rather be listening to KT (pun intended).

    :o:o:D;)

Meanwhile, Tom Jones can still belt it out. :):):)

When they catch the terrorists in Munich they should make them watch a rerun of this RTE ****e on repeat.

There is such a thing as the Geneva convention you know.

Lads... Who gives a ****e about this lot? The missus was hoping for a New York style celebration programme.

I didn't know how to break it to her. She had to see it for herself.

The poor people behind Kathryn Thomas, are they not given booze? The rest of them in the crowd are horsing the stuff back, and rightfully so, it's that kind of show.

    There's Jools Holland...

You just missed Tom Jones, but he'll almost certainly be on again later.

He had a big song a few years back. I think this is it.

and got a lot of attention with his cover of Walking In The Air.

He always sounds great live in fairness to the guy.

Ads in the middle of a performance, fecking joke of an operation RTÉ. Who bankrolled the gig, did they look for money from people attending 3 Arena and also taking in money from RTÉ licence holders?

hozier on jools, cant wait for weller

  • Registered Users Posts: 3,930 ✭✭✭PeterTheEighth

wtf? RTE spend five minutes talking to people in the crowd about them all wanting to see Fat Boy Slim, before introducing the big star himself and then going to a break.

Another great job RTE, well done.

We've just had a marriage proposal on RTE1 (I've never understood the idea of turning something so personal into a performance for an audience.....it doesn't strike me as romantic at all)
