Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I can still see it in slow motion in my head. Pop up from time to time, resulting in me collapsing into a foetal position. Why Mark, why? :(

Canelo knocked out Khan last night in devastating fashion.
I'm not a huge boxing fan by any means but Canelo has some power in his punches, he's a beast.

What was the match? I know I should probably know but I can't think now

Bohemians v Energy Drink Salzburg in the Champions League, 2nd qualifying round. First leg in Austria ended 1-1. Second leg in Dublin was heading for a 0-0 draw and a Bohs win on away goals, but Salzburg popped up with a late goal to send them through. Would've given them a decent chance of at least a Europa League group stage place (Shamrock Rovers qualified in 2011 by going that route - CL 2nd round -> CL 3rd round -> EL playoff -> EL Group Stage).

I was at the game in Salzburg, with Joey's goal and Brian Murphy's peno save. Sitting in the school end in for the return. Shivers.

Max's dad, Jos Verstappen, was an F1 driver as well of course. This was his most famous incident, during his debut season -

I think that's actually one of the pit-stop team; Verstappen was stuck in the car for all five seconds of the fire. He escaped unharmed, and two weeks later picked up his first ever podium finish.

I remember that fire, I used to watch F1 back then, Verstappen got some burns around his face, you can see them at the end of this video.

This is Jos Verstappen in his first ever GP, his car is the one on top!

    The aftermath\\\\;

PRESS RELEASE FROM THE FEDERATION INTERNATIONALE DE L'AUTOMOBILE (FIA)

Following a detailed investigation into the fire involving car No. 6 during a pit stop at the German Grand Prix, the refueling equipment manufacturer, Intertechnique, has reported to the FlA as follows:

    1. The fuel spillage was caused by a valve failing to close properly,

    2. The valve was slow to close due to the presence of a foreign body,

    3. The foreign body is believed to have reached the valve because a filter designed to eliminate this risk had been deliberately removed.

-- Excerpt from FIA Technical regulations follows ---

ARTICLE 6: PIPING AND FUEL TANKS 5. Refuelling: 5.1. All refuelling during the race must be carried out using equipment supplied by the FIA. This equipment must not be modified in any way whatsoever.

--- End of excerpt from FIA Technical regulations ---

As thr rumours go, Fkavio Briatore thought time could be saved.

Hibernian win the Scottish Cup for the first time since 1902. Lost 10 Finals since, including few hammerings and also plenty of semi final heartache, including last season. It became the obsession for the fans. Many of us thought we would never see the day. It was a surreal experience.

Senna throwing his Mercedes into the last corner at the Nurburgring where he won a non championship race against a collection of other big name F1 drivers including Hunt, Rosberg, Lauda ('84 F1 champion) and Prost ('84 F1 runner up). And this was during his 1st year in F1. Stunning feat.
