Ufc TV , so if I just sign up for fight pass can I get the prelims is that it ?

Yeah, sign up for the free 7 day trial of fight pass and you will get the prelims. Just remember to cancel it within 7 days or they will automatically renew it for the next month at €7.99/month.

if aldo just goes for takedowns etc then he's a pussy , and will be slated for being afraid to trade

i know i'll have lost respect for him , 10 years unbeaten or not

the people want to see the 2 trade , lets see whos got better chin , better arsenal of weapons , i don't wanna see a dry humping exhibition

I could see why someone would make that argument, but it is MMA, how badly does he want to win!

Watching Holm/Rousey was the perfect example of a how to implement a game plan. Maybe Aldo's game plan is takedowns in the later rounds, I could see that.

I could see how morons who have no interest in or knowledge of the sport could make that argument, but I don't understand anybody going out of their way to log onto an mma forum to voice that opinion.

The only logical conclusion is trolling

Depends how much weight they each had to cut, it certainly makes it harder to recover.

I thought they decided on the traditional hell in a cell matchup :P

I see Conor's movement training giving him the clear advantage in reaching the top first leaving Aldo playing catchup :D

Conor would've been cutting 25lbs thereabouts, nearly 15% of overall bodyweight. It's a rough cut, I think it'll have to have some effect.

from what everyone is saying the only effect it has is mainly mental and it makes rehydration more convenient more than anything else

Sorry to be a plague lads but the free trial fight pass has only three early fights listed,So do I need to cough up another tenner to get the later prelims?

Sure McGregor's look isn't even original.

Yeh I seen that before! Little bit weird but guessing these guys are taking it from him and not some random instagram guy!

Come'ere lads what's the story if it goes 12 rounds and is called a draw, Does Conor get to keep his WBC belt and Aldo keeps the IBF and WBA belts...?

Oh and one last question, What corner is Conor sent to if Aldo gets a standing count:D

    PS,

I think Conor's movement and angles will be to much for Aldo.

If it goes 12 he has to beat Fury 3 out of 5 at chess then he gets all Aldos belt collection but they aren't snail skin so he probably won't wear them. If it's a standing count he has to go to the left hand corner obviously.

I think McGregor is going to flow the bejaysus out of him and Portal will be made King of Ireland.

Merely noting the hypocrisy of the two takes on over confidence. On another note. The amount of guys in the crowd who have copied Conor's appearance is weird. Imitation is the....

My heart says Mcgregor my head says Aldo.

To be fair, that particular look is/was popular anyway, the Fury haircut (slick back, with a disconnected undercut to be precise), beard, tats. Twas the choice of hipsters, before it was cool obviously, which made it's way into popular culture. If you think McGregor has been pioneering this himself, you need to have a look outside of MMA.
Wow. Aldos odds have shortened an awful in the last 24 hours.
A shed load of money must have been thrown on him.
Has something happened to McGregor? An injury or something that they are keeping quiet?

Doubtful. It's the weekend, how many thousands have landed in Vegas, the betting capital of the world, and there's a lot of people have lumped a ton of cash on the 10 year champ, at great odds.

I've been dehydrated, hospitalised with it once. It's disorientating, in the extreme. Your body just doesn't work right, your brain shuts off "non essential" parts of your body to protect itself.

A good re hydration tool, which I got from an uncle who is a doctor and running freak, is to add a teaspoon of salt and 2 tablespoons of sugar to a pint of water. Obviously Conor and Aldo will have their own doctors supplying their version of it, but the point is the same. Sugars and salts need to be replaced, and quickly in their case. Gradually would be better, but they won't have the benefit of time.

Read before that the body can absorb about a liter an hour orally, and 10 litres is roughly 20 pounds, so iwith a 20 pound or so with a cut of around that size youre definitely going to have at least ten waking hours to sip away on water, Itd just be an awful pain in the hole being stuck to the bottle all day whereas with an iv you just stick it in and you can sleep or do whatever you like!

Has anyone ordered a UFC card on YouTube before? I'm thinking about it as it's €16

Healthy kidneys can process about a litre an hour. Exceeding that, and you run the risk of hyponatraemia (water intoxication). Vomiting & nausea, confusion, lethargy, muscle weakness, unconsciousness and death can occur. All things you want to avoid.

They have to maintain their electrolyte balance, to be in tip top form. A rasher sammidge and a pint glass of Lucozade will do wonders for them. :pac:

I'm interested in seeing how they cope with the IV ban. Your standard saline would be 0.9%, 2 or 3 bags over a sleep period of 8 hours, along with guzzling a couple of 2l bottles of water would probably be the equivalent of the 10/12 hours drinking, but more directed.

Would they possibly go by way of an nasogastric delivery? Maybe, but that's dangerous (and ****ing horrible. I don't recommend anyone doing this. I've had something delivered this way 3 or 4 times, and yuck.)
