    Think that was Mary Kennedy???

I dont think so, Twas years ago. Actually I think it was Anne Doyle. She's very cool and intelligent and not a silly girly bone in her body. Hope she gets to put ray in his place.... though she's probably even above that.

I think the youths of today take pebbledashing something to mean something entirely different:

Ray is descended from the D'arcys of Crumlin, several of them were involved in the rising. I believe Wilberforce D'arcy and Willy Cremins D'arcy led a small group that commandeered a porridge factory on D'olier street and established a garrison there.

Funniest comment I've read in ages even the names ha thanks.

This has morphed into a bad version of A Question of Sport.

Don't worry, you'll be bombarded with plenty more mundane 1916 related sh1te from RTE over the next 4 months.

Every presenter in RTE will have a link of some sort to the rising. The truth is that it is just as likely that their ancestors were on the opposite side of the fence, so to speak.

Yeah, if I was from Athy, I'd probably try to spin a few yarns like that too....:P

Is there a good version of a Question of Sport?

Weird how Ray just grunted after the bit about David Davin Power

I'd love to talk to you about other things Anne, but we wasted time playing a 'What Happened Next' game.

Ok, so Anne just threw the talk show host a major titbit there for a good yarn.

    Ray's response: 'Hmmph'

    You wally Ray.

Sorry, but if he makes an interview with Anne Doyle look awkward, then he should cop on and give up graciously at Xmas.

This makes me feel a bit like what I imagine being on drugs to be like.

Well, on drugs in a room full of dreadful mimes.

Ray has the big balls taking the Mick out of any other presenters
