Wow what the hell is going on here?

WTF refs are you kidding me

That was bizarre....whistle blew, everyone stops playing, Amendola caught the ball and was running for a sure TD. Never seen anything like that in all my days watching football.

inadvertent whistle in pro football is hilarious at best

Can't wait to see what the make up call will be for that!

The play wasn't going to be a sure TD, there was a Bills defender right there who stopped playing when he heard the whistle.

Inadvertent whistles happen a lot during amateur, semi pro and High School football and some college games. Really shouldn't happen at a pro level though.

So what though? He should have been able to try that is the point.

7 points possibly lost by officiating mistakes

Maybe, I'd need to see it in real time with audio again, but on first viewing it looked like the defender would've done well to have even gotten an ankle tap on him.

Maybe the makeup call was to give them a catch (even though the whistle blew before the reception apparently) and tack an extra 15 on for good measure.

    Complete farce though.

The point is that it wasn't a guaranteed TD like many are making out.

And now Gost misses his FG. One of them nights I reckon

Them saying it was a guaranteed TD is like you saying it wasn't a guaranteed TD though right? No one is right or wrong as we will never know. Pointless debate.

Main point is we didn't get the opportunity to see.

No way is that a TD..... going to be half a yard short. Nice drive from the Bills. Given life by the sequence before.

I'm also saying we'll never know. When I said it wasn't a guaranteed TD I didn't say it was guaranteed not to be a TD either.

ok, from the other angle you can see it touch the plane!

Great pass break up there to halt a drive. Bills front 7 giving the Pats oline fits.

Amendola is the only one in this game

Ugh, why do we just give up on 3rd and long?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 929 ✭✭✭JCTO

    Amendola done for the game

Really need Blount to kill some clock on the next possession. With no amen dolla to take short passes on slants.

I'm enjoying it so far. At night time all I want is a close game.

It's a decent game compared to the last Patriots game I watched, against Miami which was awful. Just when it comes down to the crucial point for the Bills, they've fumbled or missed the FG to release any pressure.

Though not sure I'm a neutral as a Bills loss is best for the Steelers...

Horrible decision by Brady to throw it deep and it was a horrible pass. Run the fooking clocking.

The DL LB coming up strong.

89-57 coming into this week. I picked the Jags yesterday, so I will avoid the bagel this week at least. Here are my picks.

Titans @ Jaguars Just watched this game. I actually thought the Titans defensive performance deserved more. Neither side ran the ball particularly well.
Broncos @ Bears I know Chicago are on the up, but Denver's defence is still a serious outfit.
Raiders @ Lions Flip of a coin
Colts @ Falcons Two teams I have been selling all season. I just don't trust the Falcons.
Jets @ Texans Flip of a coin
    Buccaneers @ Eagles
Redskins @ Panthers Have to go with the undefeated team, but this is ripe for an upset. I have backed Washington fixed odds outright and with the spread.
Cowboys @ Dolphins QB is not the only problem at Dallas
Rams @ Ravens Baltimore have yet to lose by more than 8 points. I think they match up well against the Rams.
Chiefs @ Chargers Rivers has no real targets.
Packers @ Vikings I can't believe I am picking the Vikings against the Pack, but Green Bay look sick (in the traditional meaning of the word).
49ers @ Seahawks No diggety. No doubt.
Bengals @ Cardinals Home field advantage for the Cards and an anaemic MNF performance by the Bengals swings it.
Bills @ Patriots Very little diggety. Very little doubt.

    9-5 this week.

    98-62 overall.
