    I tried to watch it.
I lasted less than a minute.
Used to think he was a gifted mimic who wouldn't recognize a joke at twenty paces.
I was giving him far too much credit.

It's bloody atrocious. It's all over the place. A ten minute interview with Louis Walsh as Miriam.

Are you surprised from the same people that gave Darcy a prime time Saturday night slot?

A repeat of the old D'unbelievables shows would be better than this...

Not to mention the ridiculous number of ads for it that we've had to endure for the last couple of weeks.

His Vincent Browne impersonation is very poor and how he tries to make him out to be dishevelled and badly dressed is totally inaccurate.

That Crimebusters sketch is a classic. "Sure you can't be doing that lads. You can't be doing that."

    Terrible tv for Sunday night

RTE should be ashamed of themselves.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,930 ✭✭✭PeterTheEighth

The impressions are terrible, only surpassed by the poor quality of the writing.

And Miriam gets more time on this show than she does on any other TV show.

He seems to just be doing Miriam and Vincent. Poor stuff.

I wouldn't be surprised if one of those kids was aged 18 years old watching it again in the future.

They would probably consider asking their parents WTF was I on that programme listening to that ****e?

If you think Rosenstock does a good job then it's no surprise that you'd find Vincent Browne an idiotic bore.

If either Salt or Peppa are listening tonight, Fight Like Apes will be fighting in the courtroom tomorrow.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,219 ✭✭✭dexter647

That was brutal tbh....Surely throwing in a few jokes would be a good idea:confused:

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 19,585 ✭✭✭✭Lady Chatterton

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,930 ✭✭✭PeterTheEighth

Conveniently Followed up by Eleanor Tiernan, so that at 11pm we will look back and think "Jaysus maybe Mario Rosenstock wasnt that bad"

It is. The RTE budget would never stretch to having two home-produced shows on one after another that weren't repeats.
