VB seems annoyed with Ray. Lots of sighing.

Ah in fairness, I think that was a reasonable question to ask. Gerry Adams was clearly a member of the IRA, and yet many people find him charismatic, charming & a man of the people.

Something I can't understand myself, to be honest.

Yes but it should have been followed with 'why do you like him' at least

Why don't they keep that SF and all that ****e for the late late and keep Saturdays for fun programming.
Late late and ray Darcy programmes are morphing Into each other.

Serious question here by the way, but is there supposed to be a difference?

Genius analysis of Enda there. VB is priceless to this country.

His honesty is very refreshing. He deserves a much longer, more kn depth interview with someone before he retires.

Jon Snow or Tommie Gorman come to mind.

Not a fan of Vb but I applaud the man for calling Sinn Fein on their BS at every opportunity

I find it absolutely sickening that Mary Lou, Peader Tobin, Pearse Doherty say "Gerry tells me that he wasnt in the RA, and I believe him" and people still vote for them.

can't escape the feeling that everything VB said was way over D'arcy's head. VB is wasted on D'arcy.

  • Registered Users Posts: 3,522 ✭✭✭paleoperson

I think VB has passed his peak and is now just grumpy, cynical and rarely funny.

    Dear Maverick Sabre,

You are not Rastafarian. Thank you, that is all.

    I like old VinB.

I want to like politics, but I can never pay attention to it.

I put it on the tv/radio. Prime Time, Pat Kenny etc. Makes me feel like I'm being a responsible grown up adult citizen. But in reality, I'm daydreaming about Star Wars or Arsenal or something.

Vinny finds it hard to hide his contempt for D'Arcy.

Not entirely true, VB doesn't suffer fools or foolish questions.

    Ray -what about Enda?

Ffs Ray you liar you said you emigrate if Enda was ever Taoiseach !!

There's no other country in the world where a boring old fart like Ray D'Arcy could get a half million euro broadcasting deal.
